Re: Ubisoft Is Launching Five Triple-A Games Before April Next Year

FanboyofGamesNot

I can't wait to hear more about Beyond Good and Evil 2, but that's most likely going to be a PS5/XBSX game and rightly so given the potential scope. They'll probably need the extra horse power to fully realise their dream/vision and the 8th generation consoles will only hold back that vision from what it could/should be.

I am also looking forward to Watchdogs 3 given how good Watchdogs 2 was/is, and I don't have a problem with Ubisoft delaying their big games because I'd much rather have a polished, complete game instead of a broken game that requires multiple 50gb patches to fix it.
Some gamers are so self entitled. They moan (rightly so) when games release broken, unfinished etc, but they also complain when studios delay a game so as to make sure we're getting what we are paying for, but also as they intended the game to be.

Ubisoft know they messed up with latest Ghost Recon (The Division 2 was pretty good imo) and they admitted as much which is why they have delayed those big releases.
Say what you want about the big three publishers ie Activision, EA and Ubisoft, but atleast Ubisoft have taken ownership of their mistakes over the past few years.
Clearly they have a ways to go, and don't get me started on the MTX, but they aren't as bad as the above mentioned pubs.

I think some gamers believe triple A games are really easy to make, but also £60/$60 is expensive too.
Games are cheaper these days then they were back in the 1990's and yet the cost of development has increased tenfold since then, but some gamers believe they should be cheaper.
Off topic there, but I am sick of reading comments from people that have unrealistic expectations, but are also self entitled.

Let's play games guys and not fanboy wars.
