@30. SUPERZELDAMAN: Morph Ball, roll underneath, bomb, roll out, unload missiles into face, repeat.
Am selling MP 2-3 for whatever they fetch now (probably a fiver) to help grab this collection. I have a US import version of MP1 I paid £60 for because of the delay of it coming out over here back in the day, it's probably worthless now so I'll keep it.
With the success of all the on-rails Wii shooters it begs one big question; Where the hell is Time Crisis? An anthology disk would be a good start....Probably been gobbled up by Sony throwing a lot of money at Namco for exclusivity....
RE5 Wii gets my support too, though the Chronicles games do fill in some nice holes in the Resi plot...
The Mother games (Earthbound at least) Custom Robo series SMW2: Yoshi's Island Pilotwings 64 Star Fox 2 from the SNES (the game that never was...it'll never happen but oh well) The Setallaview Zeldas (for curiosity if nothing else) Seiken Densetsu 3 (Why the hell not? As with the Mother games your just losing sales to fan-translations and emulators)
I started a thread in the VC forums about this, we need to start complaining, em masse if we can. If we bombard them (or nintendo) with complaints about this problem (I sent one today) maybe they will fix the problem, hell adding a damn option would be good enough.
@RadioShadow: Yeah but many people don't use the Homebrew channel (I personally don't trust myself to not brick my Wii, and can't afford a replacement.) and still there's the principle of paying extra 'Hanabi' price for a product which is inferior to the original.
@Betagam7: WOW. I see what you're talking about now, I always thought the Sonic I played on GC (Mega Collection stuff was taken from the NTSC and ported well I believe) was faster and more responsive than the one from my childhood on the MD. That was the difference. I guess I've been lucky then, since I've only downloaded Streets of Rage 2 from the MD so far and have only gotten TG16 or adjusted SNES games (SM World, Zelda etc) or Sin and Punishment (Only runs in 60hz).
If we're paying extra, we should get extra service I think. I've been slightly disappointed at the lack of translation or optional subs on Hanabi games, this takes the cake though, you're right it's about time someone asked about it. NintyLife! We must campaign for change to come to the Virtual Mega Drive! YES WE CAN! etc etc.
Can someone please explain to me what the big deal about 50hz and 60hz actually is? I never notice much difference when playing and I have stuff like Soldier Blade and Star Parodier...I wanna get MUSHA, but would like to know why everyone's slagging it's PAL release off.
Even though the Japanese text doesn't really interfere with the game itself, some subtitles (ugly as they might've looked) might not have gone amiss in the cutscenes, apart from that, this game is quite brilliant.
I just pray to God that the online mode works fine. I chose FIFA 09 because it came out first last year and had a good review from NOM over here, but the online play is so broken it's unplayable, and once you've beaten the computer on World Class with the Suwon Bluewings against AC Milan it gets somewhat boring. I know PES2010 will be awesome, let it have an awesome online mode too!
@Gabe: Someone else correct me if I'm wrong, but the festival is just a time when they 'release' the import titles into PAL-land, once they're there, they're usually there forever. At least that's my understanding, if I'm wrong I need to go grab Star Parodier before it gets wiped off.
Also MUSHA is gonna be great, hope to god they don't butcher it into PAL-50hz, just give it a HD interlace mode like a few of the other games.
