I was surprised to not see Power Blade on this list. When I developed it (for Taito) for the NES, Nintendo's Game Counselors (who were responsible for game ratings back then) rated it the fourth-highest rated game in the NES' history (and the highest-ever licensee game) up to that time. It was particularly satisfying to me as the Taito executives in Japan had argued with me about even submitting it to Nintendo for publication (as I was informed the Taito execs didn't think it was a very good game) and instead wanted me to concentrate all my efforts on finishing our development of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. A few weeks later (after the ratings were returned), the execs patted themselves on the back for how smart they were to have submitted Power Blade.
