Switch 2 eShop - Highlights

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta (28th Aug - 1st Sep) - The next chapter in the critically acclaimed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series launches on Oct. 23, but you can explore a variety of new game content this weekend! From Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. PT to Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. PT, all players with a Nintendo Switch 2 system can take part in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta. Check out a playable Campaign mission, multiplayer modes and much more while earning in-game Beta rewards. During the Open Beta, all Nintendo Switch 2 players will be able to use the Vault Edition operators and weapons – even if they haven’t pre-ordered the game yet!

METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol. 2 (KONAMI, 27th Aug, $49.99) – Elude your enemies and infiltrate areas without being detected with the Metal Gear series, the pinnacle of “stealth action.” The second installment of the definitive Metal Gear Master Collection includes Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, available on both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

Arcade Archives 2 CYBER CYCLES (HAMSTER, 20th Aug, $16.99) - "CYBER CYCLES" is a racing game released by NAMCO LIMITED (current Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. ) in 1995. This game featured a large bike-style cabinet design that stood out at arcades at the time. Set against the backdrop of near-future motorcycle racing, choose from a lineup of unique machines with different performance features, and cross the finish line ahead of all your rivals!

Arcade Archives 2 NINJA EMAKI (HAMSTER, 20th Aug, $9.99) - "NINJA EMAKI" is a shooter released by Nichibutsu in 1986. Use them wisely, and they'll be the key to advancing through the game!

BRIGANDINE ABYSS (NIS America, 27th Aug, $49.99) - Brigandine: Abyss is a war simulation game and strategy RPG all in one. In addition to featuring multiple campaigns, the game also introduces a new mission mode. Pay your debts, conquer the world, or bring splendor back to your city—all 24 nations have their own unique win condition!

Console Archives Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess (HAMSTER, 20th Aug, $14.99) - "Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess" was released by Nippon Ichi Software in 1999 for a 32-bit home console. Set 12 years after “Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure”, this musical RPG follows Kururu—the daughter born to Cornet and Prince Ferdinand—as she sets off on a journey to find her ideal prince. Enjoy the world of the Marl Kingdom brought to life by richly expressive characters and a newly revamped battle system that adds deeper tactical depth.

Dogpile (Foot Games, 20th Aug, $9.99) - When two of the same dog touch, BAM! You get a BIGGER dog. Quest of Dungeons (Flyhigh Works, 27th Aug, $7.19) - Quest of Dungeons is a turn-based dungeon crawler game: a roguelike featuring a good old 16-bit, retro artistic look. An evil Dark Lord has stolen all the light, so your mission is to enter his lair and defeat him. By playing as either a Warrior, a Wizard, an Assassin or a Shaman, you have to traverse dungeons, defeat enemies and loot everything you can in order to survive. You can learn new skills in Tomes you find along the way and buy/sell items at shops. The entire game is procedural so you won't find items/enemies in the same place each time you play.

1964 Operation Velvet Twins (Ratalaika Games, 28th Aug, $5.99) - You play as Secret Agent Mike Rogers, assigned to track down and capture the fugitive terrorists known only as the Velvet Twins. Set in 1960s you’ll fight through unforgettable stages from neon-lit Las Vegas, gritty Chinatown, and abandoned factories, all the way to a shootout in a Wild West village!

A Tower Full Of Cats (Alchemy Games, 26th Aug, $5.99) - A Tower Full of Cats is a cozy and charming hidden object game where your mission is simple: find every cat across the entire history of catkind… and beyond! Climb through time in this vertical adventure packed with secrets, surprises and, of course, cats. Travel across beautifully illustrated levels representing different eras and worlds, each overflowing with adorable felines hiding in plain sight.

Ascent DX (Sleepy Grove Games, 20th Aug, $2.99) - Ascent DX is a tiny metroidvania brought to life in glorious 64 x 64 pixel art and soothing chiptune music. Crashed on an unknown planet you have to explore lush jungles, lifeless deserts, and luminescent caves in search of anything that can help you understand what has happened to the planet and how to get off it. While the game is a bigger version of the original Ascent, with almost twice as many locations to explore, it is still quite a short game. With the same celebrated gameplay and atmosphere, the DX versions also brings more items to find, more platforming puzzles, and more lore to uncover.

Black Tower Enigma (Ogre Pixel, 27th Aug, $6.79) - Play as Wigo, the Orc, whose wife has been kidnapped and taken up to the skies by a magic dress gifted by a mysterious Fairy. As Wigo saw his wife going up to the skies, he went to the tallest building known on the continent: The Black Tower Enigma. Inside the Black Tower Enigma, Wigo has to solve some riddles and challenges in order to climb up and find some clues to find his wife.

CAPTAIN TSUBASA 2: WORLD FIGHTERS (Bandai Namco Entertainment, 28th Aug, $59.99) - The next episode of Tsubasa’s riveting adventure is here! Enjoy the thrill of spectacular soccer actions with 110 playable characters and new sensational super moves. Challenge a friend in the field or support Tsubasa on his Journey, the ball is yours.

Chew Chew Mimic (Nami Tentou, 27th Aug, $9.99) - Guide four distinct knights through 100 brain-bending puzzle levels where the real danger isn't obstacles or enemies—it's the hungry mimic waiting for them at the end. Escape game R00M16 (AlignmentSharp, 27th Aug, $1.00) - Move through 3D space to find hints, solve mysteries and escape from the room. Anyone can play to the end because you can see hints and answers.

Forest of Deceit (PolyCrunch Games, 31st Aug, $9.99) - Forest of Deceit is a Jackbox-esque social deduction game for 4 to 8 players. You are part of a group lost in a dark, treacherous forest that seems to go on forever and ever. You can’t find any escape, and there’s a storm brewing on the horizon - a storm so massive that you all will surely perish if you can’t build a solid shelter before it arrives. Every day you explore the forest to gather resources with which to build your shelter. But the forest itself is cursed, slowly driving people into a traitorous madness; it’s surely already got a hold on some of your friends’ minds…

Galactic Warfare Collection (Pdpartid@games, 20th Aug, $15.99) - Space Dragons Choose your spaceship and defeat the alien threat coming from the Moon. Fight your way through by crushing, smashing, and blowing up hostile aliens that are taking control of powerful Earth weapons and military technology. Find the entity controlling the threat and make it explode in blood. Space Dragons is a classic horizontal shoot ’em up game where you can choose different ships with unique characteristics and abilities to destroy tons of invading aliens. Throughout the adventure, you will face powerful bosses and explosive enemies.

Golftacular! (PolyCrunch Games, 27th Aug, $9.99) - Golftacular! is mini-golf. . . barely. Mix party game chaos and dumb fun with precision and strategy. Metal Garden (Source Macchiato, 1st Sep, $5.99) - Travel through an overgrown megastructure, and discover what lies beyond it. Metal Garden is a short, atmospheric singleplayer FPS game. My Friendly Little Island Deluxe (Caracal Games, 29th Aug, $3.99) - Life on the island starts slow. You walk, you talk, you help out where you can. Every new upgrade changes the island around you. Ledges you used to walk around become shortcuts, long detours turn into single jumps. Help the people you meet and they'll settle into your village, with the soundtrack growing livelier every time someone moves in. Change your look with cosmetic items, watch the island shift from day to night.

One Last Clip (Struggle Games Studio, 20th Aug, $3.19) - You are locked inside a cinema. Your only way to escape is to follow the instructions of your task: Watch the same film clip repeatedly and search for flaws to break free. With Eyes of Ice (Ratalaika Games, 21st Aug, $11.99) - Dying of frostbite, Gréta Egilsdóttir is left to wonder how she found herself in such a dire situation.
