Pokémon Sword and Shield may no longer be the newest Pokémon game on Switch, but it's still receiving special limited-time events.
The next one will be taking place between 11th and 12th June and will be a special distribution event for a Sableye based on the one used by the Japan Championships 2021 champion.
Here's a bit about its move set and the item it comes equipped with, courtesy of Serbii.net:
"Level 50 with the ability Prankster and the moves Fake Out, Quash, Foul Play and Trick and comes holding the Eject Button."
We'll update this post when this distribution event goes live. Are you still playing Sword and Shield on a regular basis? Leave a comment down below. View all of the past code distributions for Sword and Shield in our full guide.

I know there not in this gen, and I hope there an event next gen, but, man do I miss hoopa.
There one of my favorite pokemon ever and they are just forgotten ):
🙋🏾♂️I still play 🗡 (and 🛡) regularly.
I've recently sent certain Pkm over to it from B💎 but I wish I could send over Manaphy...
Any excuse to get a great little gremlin in a Cherish Ball is fine by me.
I've been playing SwSh a lot recently as well (currently on 1600 encounters for a shiny Yamask and losing my sanity along the way) so I will gladly take this. I'm making a box in HOME specifically for event mons anyway so this'll just be another addition to the collection.
I'll definitely avail of this as I've always had a thing for this cheeky little Critter. It's cute, it looks like a Shadow Heartless from Kingdom Hearts somewhat and it has such a naughty/mischievous grin on its face.
@Fizza : Wouldn’t the Masuda method be quicker and less tedious than wild encounters?
@Silly_G Absolutely and that's what I do on most Pokemon I want to shiny hunt (Corsola, Deino, Shelmet, etc.). However, after getting a Mr Mime after hunting it in the wild, I really wanted to get another one and Yamask was the perfect choice since it's in the overworld, is relatively common on it's route and it's a Pokemon I really like. I'm actually hunting it there as we speak and it's been pretty relaxing all things considered save for the perpetual annoyance of Arena Trap Dugtrio (even outside of Smogon, I can't escape this mole). If you have the Shiny Charm, I would definitely recommend doing it at least once (preferrably on something extremely common like Zigzagoon or Rookidee).
@Snatcher My favorite Pokemon is Tropius so I feel your pain.
I don't like Sableye, hard pass on this one
@Fizza Can't you just have a flying type in your lead to avoid the Arena Trap mess?
@link3710 The Yamask have Memento so I need to have a Pokemon with both Taunt and a sleeping move in order to make it work and there's only one that fits both criterias: Gallade.
I work around it by just buying a ton of Pokedolls personally.
Not going to be a broken WonderEye?
Game Freak actually acknowledged that hax mon in the BW2 movies minigame.
@Snatcher Hoopa's distribution makes me think of it as the McDonald's mon.
If only there was a Hyperspace Hole the food could eject itself into.
Instead of these meager distributions, Game freak needs to be putting all their Resorces and attention into Pokémon Violet and Scarlet. Especially since they both have a planned release date of this year which doesn't give them much time.
@Fizza @Silly_G What exactly is the Masuda Method? 🤔
@Fizza That's a great idea.. a box just for event mons!
@TowaHerschel7 : The Masuda method is when you breed two Pokémon of different language versions of the game, which increases your likelihood of hatching a shiny.
Foreign language Dittos are very popular for this reason as they can breed with almost any Pokémon.
This also stacks with the Shiny Charm, which further increases the odds of producing a shiny.
