With Season 9 of Ninjala just around the corner, players are masticating at the ready to experience what's to come with the next free update. Today, GungHo Online Entertainment has announced that things will kick off with the next major collaboration, with the manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen.

During the collaboration — which runs from 10th March 00:00 PST / 08:00 GMT to 13th April 6:59 PM PST / 14th April 02:59 BST — budding ninjutsu users will be able to access a wide variety of outfits to make their ninja look like their favourite characters from the popular Shōnen Jump series.

Among these 12 costumes, there will be ones for Yuji Itadori, Mahito, and fan-favourite character Satoru Gojo. Given Gojo's reputation as someone who enjoys being childish and playful, we can imagine some other characters will enjoy besting anyone dressed as him. There will also be outfits for the Special Grade Cursed Objects Ryomen Sukuna and Suguru Geto, the Curse User, which you will be able to get through gacha.

Other gacha items will also be obtainable, such as some special Ninja Gum that are based on a few well-known weapons, along with two Gum Utsusemi inspired by the show's mascots Tsukamoto and Cathy. This is just a snippet of what's to come on 10th March for Jujutsu Kaisen fans, and the Dev Diary goes into even more depth. It's safe to say there's a lot to get excited about.

It's not just the popular series that got the spotlight in the broadcast, however. With the release of Season 9, Ninjala will also be introducing the Ninja Gum Lab, the long-awaited WNA Resort, and a new Shinobi Card called the "Turnabout Guard." No, that's not a Phoenix Wright case, which reduces all types of damage your character takes when they drop below a certain amount of health.

The Ninja Gum Lab is exactly what it sounds like - a place where you can spend medal to research the various types of Ninja Gum you collect throughout your skirmishes. Doing this increases your gum's stats, such as damage, shorter cooldowns, and other benefits to help give you an advantage in battle. There's also going to be a "Commemorative Campaign" for the first two weeks of the lab's opening, which will reward you with medals to spend simply by logging into the game, along with other benefits.

There's also going to be a "Ninjala Beginners Campaign", which should entice new players to join the fray and grab some gum, running from Season 9's launch to 13th April 6:59 PM PST.

Phew! That's a lot for you to chew. You can get even more detail about the even by visiting the official Ninjala website.
