I hate how Cloud is DLC but that is a clean model
nothing too concerning for me to be honest. Most of the games mentioned (like 13 Sentinels, Voice of Cards sequel, and Touken Ranbu) are west bound anyway. About a few aren't
Japan’s Direct had TWO musou games?!
No fair!
Poor Chocobo GP is going to get less excitement than it should with MK8 DLC coming out a few days later.
That Touken Ranbu Warriors game looks interesting, a localization would be nice.
@Silly_G well the Touken Ranbu game is also coming to the West so there is that at the very least
@Anti-Matter Kirby forgotten land details.
Klonoa phantasy reverie.
Mario strikers.
And xenoblade chronicles 3.
Yeah “dreadful” sure bud. 😒
@Greatluigi It’s Anti-Matter. Logic flies out the window.
I sorta want Taiko Risshiden but I have to finish the Nobunaga’s Ambition game on switch. I need a clone. The centennial case is coming westward. Still on the fence about Loop 8.
@nessisonett so he does this a lot?
@iLikeUrAttitude may 24th I believe.
@Greatluigi
also to mention:
Chrono Cross Radical Dreams Edition
Portal Collection
Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes
Live A Live
Earthbound for NSO
MK8 DLC
Switch Sports
very "dreadful"
@Greatluigi
Kirby was okay but I still need to observe more about the gameplay. Not sure about the gameplay. 🧐
Klonoa was not really convincing me as 2.5 D platformer games. 🧐
Mario Strikers just nah.... Never like soccer, never care about soccer. 😒
Gimme cartoonish boxing and I will be happy.
Xenoblade 3 was not even the game I will have interest about. Just straight No. 😑
To tell you, I have completely different interest in gaming. Mostly I have interest with unpopular games or niche games that really matched with my personality. So, the games like DDR, BEMANI games, The Sims, K-1, Yokai Watch, 1-2-Switch, Amiibo Festival, Cooking Mama, Imagine + Petz series by Ubisoft, etc are kind of games I will have interest about.
I'm different kind of gamer unlike other peoples here.
"Not interested" in #ChocoboGP? Let's change that!"
Is that from the official Twitter?!
@anoyonmus
Straight NO
Chrono Cross Radical Dreams Edition
Portal Collection
Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes
Live A Live
Earthbound for NSO
Okay but not really want to play at the moment
MK8 DLC
Disappointed
Switch Sports (No Boxing on it)
LOOP8 looks really good.
Mother 1 & 2 have been added on the NSO in Japan and Hong Kong.
The Japanese often get the quirky, interesting stuff eh
LOOP8 better come to the West because that looks so good!
Adding one of the most wanted characters in Chocobo GP (I'd assume) and hiding him behind a (I'm guessing) paid season pass is a dirty dirty way to start things.
So much games that no normal person is able to play. But a pretty good direct show.
My highlights are Kirby, Klonoa, Star Wars Force and the Mario Kart content
@Anti-Matter I wouldn't 100% count boxing out. They're adding golf later, so there's a chance boxing might get added down the road. I will admit it seems kinda whack that they didn't just wait to have the full kit of games ready to go before release though.
I'm surprised in the western Direct Chocobo GP and 13 Sentinels didn't show up. They're pretty strong releases, I think.
@UglyCasanova Not interested is right, definitely after that trick!
@Anti-Matter I'm a big Klonoa fan. It's a platform puzzler of anything. They're really amazing!
The music is so good, the gameplay is fun and the puzzles have a perfect difficulty curve. It's like playing an amazing dream.
Hope a lot of people will check it out! First time I get to play Klonoa 2, after all these years!! ♥️
anything being released immediately? which games coming this month???
@Anti-Matter If those truly are your tastes and you're not just trolling, that's great. I love seeing someone live their truth. You've got some universally accepted great ones in there mixed in with some games I didn't know anyone liked.
I've always thought the most interesting conversation piece with games is regarding the games someone likes that nobody else does. For me, it's Contra: Rogue Corps, RE6, and Duke Nukem Forever to name a few. Nier used to be on that list, but people started seeing the light.
Tell me, what do you see in Amiibo Festival that the rest of us are blind to? What do you like about it? I'm genuinely curious; I want to see what you see.
Mario Kart 8 DLC is great and by the time we get a new Nintendo console in 2024 they’ll be an ‘ultimate’ version ready with all 96 tracks!
@Thaliard
Okay, about Amiibo Festival.
Genuinely, I think Amiibo Festival was quite interesting for me as it was like almost no brainer Monopoly style board game so I can play the game very relax without worrying about competition since I can take control all 4 players by using four Amiibo figurines.
Since I take control all the players, I don't really care who will be the winner as every Amiibo figurines I used are the winner as after the game finished, they will be leveled up depend on how many happy points they have accumulated during gameplay.
I played Amiibo Festival with very unusual way as long it will makes me happy and content.
The idea of the floor panel with getting / losing Happy point or getting / losing money are interesting for me and I used the idea from Amiibo Festival monopoly board style for my Math Club activity during extracurricular time with Zoom meeting so I made my own style of Board game with some rules from Amiibo Festival + some new rules from me to match with Math lesson by add the Question mark panel, so whenever my students landed on Question mark panel, they have to answer my Math question from question cards I have prepared before the game. If they can answered correctly, they will get the reward (Happy points +3 or Money +3000 Bell) but if not they will get nothing. During the gameplay, they might landed on some Trap floor such as Penalty (losing both Money and Happy points) so it will create some drama and the students will get engaged with game. Same as Amiibo Festival rules, at the end of the game I will accumulate their happy points with their current money. Students who have the most happy points is the winner. They like my board game idea and they are grade 5 students, even I found some of my students were really competitive during playing.
Here is my own Board game for Math Club extracurricular with idea from Amiibo Festival.
Most peoples called Amiibo Festival as garbage but I called Amiibo Festival as hidden treasure.
Btw, come on.
Even I was not allowed to say the Nintendo Direct this morning was disappointing for me.
My first comment got deleted for being unscontructive (wut??)
I immediately deleted my first comment and try to make better comment for next post.
@the_beaver Yeah, it's kind of weird to me that they left 13 Sentinels out of the Western Direct. It's being released here, and I feel it could sell really well on the Switch, so why not promote it?
Of course they have time constraints on Directs, so they have to pick and choose, but I think that was a mistake.
That Vanillaware game looks fantastic, but if it's a RTS game, that won't be my cup of tea, sadly :/
@Anti-Matter If you have niche taste how is it possible not to be excited for Front Mission and Live A Live? Those games are going to sell 13 copies each.
I'm just always wishing they would release Konami's Powerful Pro Baseball games worldwide. Those and the M2 shot triggers games really deserve for their high quality to shine globally! For example, I recently got Sorcer Striker on my PS5 and it's absolutely one of the best shoot em ups I've ever played. To get it I had to create a Japanese Playstation account and find the game on the japanese eshop after buying PSN credits for the Japanese shop. I would've bought it years ago if I'd known about it and it was easily accessible...
@nessisonett should have expected that from him
@Troll_Decimator
I have no interest with Front Mission and Live a Live either.
@Anti-Matter That's really great! Sounds like your students are lucky to have you. And I can see the appeal of playing Amiibo Festival in your style. Animal Crossing has a wonderful, peaceful aesthetic.
I finally realised just now Touken Ranbu Warriors is a Switch exclusive.
@Anti-Matter lol you have totally different tastes to me then. That board game was a great idea though. I reckon those students are pretty lucky to have some one like you. Your weird tastes seem to bear pretty good fruit for more than just you! 👍
