Switch owners who are subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online can now play The Jackbox Party Pack 6 in its entirety for free for a limited time.
This quirky, multiplayer party game collection is now available as the latest offering in Nintendo's Game Trials series. As we explained earlier today thanks to Europe's upcoming trial, these limited-time events let Switch Online subscribers download and play a full game while the offer is live, without any progression restrictions like your typical demo.
This offer will be live from 13th - 19th October; you can start playing right now, up until 11:59pm PT on that final day.
Make sure to let us know if you're going to be giving this one a go with a comment below. To access the Trial, simply head to the 'Nintendo Switch Online' section of the eShop.

Yay, and no one to play it with!...
While Japan gets an actual game.
This is great! I'll definitely be giving it a go this weekend. The quality of each collection varies, so the preview is helpful.
Do you need phones for these games? or can everyone just use a switch to play?
I'll try to download it and give it a spin, but I'm still so deep into Metroid that I doubt I'll resurface in time to play it before the offer expires.
Here's another "for a limited time" game. Keep putting that NSO subscription money in your pocket Nintendo.
@Snatcher everyone needs a phone or a device with a browser to connect to jackbox.tv. Funny enough I think you could use a Wii U or 3DS but I haven’t tried that haha.
6 was one of the weaker collections, but Joke Boat and Dictionarium can be fun with the right people.
I’m really looking forward to party pack 8
Yeah, no thanks.
First free game in over a year for NA!... And I already own it on PC
Oooooh! I got one of the singular jackbox games a while ago for free - it was pretty cool! Will check out this later!
When are they finally going to share details for the NSO expansion pass though? It's about half October and it's supposed to launch at the end of the month.
@DeathByLasagna Ok, thanks!
@Yosher Maybe they'll wait until the very end of the month and then share details a day before it's release date. Either that or we'll see it tomorrow.
@Cheez What are you talking about? Crash Team Nitro was just a few months ago and they just did Among Us and a few other ones.
@GamingBread Tomorrow? Why would we hear about it tomorrow?
@faint you're probably right. I checked it a few months, maybe two months, ago and on the Game Trials page the last thing listed was from 2020. Bummed I missed CTR.
Dictionarium and Trivia Murder Party. Two games that gave us mass amounts of joy over lockdown.
Jackbox 6 is a really solid pack. Only second to Jackbox 3 in my opinion. Dictionarium, Joke Boat and Trivia Murder Party 2 are all top tier party games. If you’re in a situation safe enough to have a gathering, definitely have one for this game and its fair to say you’ll have a great time, free of charge.
@HungryHungryHomer ...the game doesn't disappear after the trial, It's pretty much just a short demo
Oddly enough, Jackbox 7 will be getting a physical release on Switch/PS4/Bone next month. I don’t get why they didn’t spring for compilation releases. I’ll consider it depending on the quality of the activities.
