Crytek's Crysis Remastered Trilogy arrived on the Nintendo Switch recently and while we thought it was pretty impressive, there's definitely some issues present.
Fortunately, the developer has heard players' feedback and has now resolved a lot of the reported problems (specifically tied to the remastered version of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3) in the latest patch for the game - Version 1.1.0.
Here are the full patch notes for the Switch version of the trilogy, courtesy of an official post from the developer via Reddit. Unfortunately, they don't go into the fine details, but it's enough to get an idea of what's been improved:
Today, we have the 1.1.0 Patch for Crysis 2 & 3 on Nintendo Switch. We want to thank our Switch players for their support and feedback on Crysis 2 & 3. We've been working hard over the last couple of days to fix many of the reported issues, improving the visuals and performance which in return should help keep higher dynamic resolution in the games. You can find the full list of changes below.
But we are not done yet! We're planning to release further updates for the Trilogy on both PC and consoles. First one of those will be coming mid-November and the other one will follow around Christmas.
Once again we would like to thank you for your continued support!
Patch Notes
- Stability fixes,
- Overall performance improvements,
- Audio fixes,
- Localization fixes,
- And art improvements.
As noted, more updates for the trilogy will be arriving in mid-November and then Christmas - so keep an eye out for these. What do you think of the latest patch for this trilogy? Has the experience improved on your end? Leave a comment down below.

I hope those are in the LRG cartridges
@Zuljaras I was thinking the same thing since I pre-ordered 2 already
@Zuljaras : LRG usually delay manufacturing until patches are ready, though that isn't necessarily indicative that other patches may not come along later.
Yes fixes....stability and mind blowing on the SWITCH!!!!
For those that didn't know there is also a physical version of Crysis 1 available. LRG is doing Crysis 2 preorders next week. No idea about a physical For Crysis 3
How would you rank the 3 Crysis titles? Which is the best and which is the worst?
Had an audio issue in Crysis 2 where it would cut out - hopefully this sorts it
@Paulo I completed Crysis 1 about a week ago, and thoroughly enjoyed that - quite open/sandbox type of FPS when the you can play about with mechanics and use different approaches (guns blazing/stealth) currently on about mission 12 of Crysis 2 and not really enjoying it, very linear by comparison and a lot more run n gun in my opinion - seems to be a different game to the first. Not played Crysis 3 buts will do after 2
I would love another graphics patch for Crysis 1 remastered. That game looks rather muddy during dusk time.
Regardless, thanks to devs for bringing the game to Switch in the first place.
Audio is still broken and keeps cutting out at random intervals
@Bizzyb Crysis 3 pre-order campaign comes in December
I'm playing through the first game. There is an annoying bug where occasionally a later enemy (so as not to spoil it) don't die properly. Their corpses still show as targets through the binoculars. This leads to certain missions not being able to be completed. Worse still, the bug kept recurring if I reset the checkpoint.
It's marred what was an enjoyable game (especially the second half!) and once again shows up this sort of game for the clunkyness they are.
Which is annoying as Metroid Prime was clunk free. But, this is the closest to Halo on the console. And like I said, it's decent (but full disclosure, I'm not super into FPS games.)
@Little_Squee They did an update for it recently that boosted the overall resolution, it looks much better than it did.
@ozwally I ran into the same thing even after the update so I think they still need to fix some more things before the next patch.
