Stylish fighting games are in relatively plentiful supply, but another one ready to make its pitch is Young Souls from the development team 1P2P. The studio's name is a giveaway, as there's a focus on co-op play in this one - albeit you can also tackle it solo if you like.
As you can see in the trailer above this is a game with a big focus on bombastic boss fights, a point made by the developers over on the PlayStation blog. This one is heading to Switch soon, too, targeting a Fall release.
Below are some of the game features from the publisher's blurb:
- Fight with Jenn and Tristan, solo or in co-op, and experience the adventures of the twins and the two worlds through a beautifully crafted story and polished dialogue.
- Customise your gear by unlocking hundreds of weapons, armour sets and accessories, and then prepare to fight hordes of enemies and over 20 fearsome bosses.
- Explore the four unique biomes of the goblin world and complete dozens of dungeons in your quest to save the world, your reputation and the professor.
- Pass from one world to the other through day and night and make the most of each environment. Enjoy stunning scenery and a unique atmosphere as you wander the streets of Portsbourgh.
We rather like the look of this and it will hopefully transition well onto Switch. Let us know what you think in the comments!

This looks really good! I'm definitely interested!
Oh right, THIS game. Totally forgot it existed. All I remember about it is that the writing was trying REALLY hard to be edgy and it came off as super cringy.
Ew, no thanks lol
This looks really good but the art style is not my taste. And for that reason, I'm out. =P
Somehow the art style comes off like a flash game and high effort at the same time. I'm quite conflicted.
I will admit I have not read this article, I have no idea what this game is about but having the word souls is an instant turn off for me, come on be more creative ! Xxx
Looks like it could be fun, but I will need to see some full gameplay rather than quick clips before I know for sure.
Holy smokes I looooooove the art style and quality of animation. Very unique, IMO.
