Update: Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can now check out Two Point Hospital for free for a limited time as part of Nintendo of Europe's latest Game Trials offer.
If you enjoy the game and feel like keeping a copy forever, you can then go ahead and purchase Two Point Hospital: JUMBO Edition and its DLC at 30% off until 8th August
Original Article (Wed 21st Jul, 2021 13:30 BST): Nintendo is giving Switch owners the chance to check out the excellent Two Point Hospital in its entirety for free next week.
Two Point Studio's humorous hospital management sim is the latest to be included in Nintendo's Game Trials series. These limited-time events let Switch Online subscribers download and play a full game while the offer is live, so unlike your typical free demo, you can go ahead and beat the entire game without spending a single penny ā if you have the time, of course.
The Game Trials offer will be live from 28th July until 3rd August in Europe; no news on a similar trial has been confirmed for North America just yet. Currently, Among Us is also enjoying the free game trial treatment, so make sure to get on that if you haven't already.
You can find our full review of Two Point Hospital right here if you'd like to learn what it's all about before diving in ā simply head to the 'Nintendo Switch Online' section of the eShop to find and download the trial.

Does this grant the player a full copy, or is this like a stretched out demo?
@VoidofLight It says Game Trials... so it sure sounds more like a demo.
Ooh. Nice. Might try this.
@VoidofLight you didnāt try any of the previous NSO game trials, did you? Itās the full game for round about a week.
Definitely giving this one a try!
Just a great sim management game.
always wanted to give this a go so i'm looking forward to the trial!
@HolyGeez03 @VoidofLight it's written in the article what it is:

It is the full game, but not the jumbo edition of it.
@Rosona nice catch!
This is awesome news - been waiting to pick this up for a while, so hopefully the game will go on Sale following the Trial like Descenders a few weeks ago!
Ah, so itās moreso a game rental
Nice, gives me a chance to try out the controls on Switch before I make a decision about buying it.
So just a heads up, since this is the original console release and not the Jumbo Edition, you will only get two out of four (six if you include the item packs) DLCs with this. That being said, people should really go for it at any rate, but do note that you can only have up to 75 staff members in this version of the game.
@VoidofLight Full game for a week.
@VoidofLight
Did you honestly think Nintendo would give away a current gen game as a NSO perk? They can't afford that!
Dope. I'll pass, since I already purchased the Jumbo Edition.
I'd totally recommend everyone to give this a try!
btw, Nintendo has been "giving" more games with NSO recently than they used to. I truly hope this is a sign of better things to come!!
This is very tempting. Although, I do in fact not have the time for playing it at all! ^^
I am interested, will try it out
@HungryHungryHomer I would rather pay $30 or $40 a year and get some current indie games free than $20 and get 30-40 y/o games for free.
I own this. I found it pretty fun and amusing.
It's pretty fun. It is one of those typical sim games where its just frantic management of a billion little things until it gets to be too overwhelming and everyone dies or the building catches on fire.
Why do commenters ask questions that can be answered if they would just read the damned article?
@MSpudley It's pretty mystifying... So eager to comment; so happy to do so whilst wilfully uninformed.
@NatiaAdamo @Rosona This trial version is the Jumbo edition - just follow the link from Nintendo's tweet.
I'd be amazed, if this sort of thing weren't something that happened on Steam on a regular basis. It's not hidden behind a sub either.
This UK only or something? I canāt find it!
Edit: Iām stupid.. Europe only.. I hate being American this country sucks
@VoidofLight one week free
Will take a look at this. Always one ive fancied playing but didnt want to take the plunge and make a purchase. A demo suits me fine š
The only thing holding me back buying the physical edition is the cover. Did it really have to be that cheap and hideous?
So still waiting for it to drop in price to the level of the cover 'art'. But I'm sure the gameplay is great so.
Tried it on Xbox game pass ages ago, just not for me. Think I killed a few patients and considered it a job well done and uninstalled.
I played the free trial for a couple hours now. And despite this game being anti-hemp (too many jokes against it), and anti-enlightenment (it's an illness in the game), and featuring only repelling women (they look like men with a different hairdo), I still appreciate most of the humour and like the easy controls and polished gameplay. I will play some more before I decide to buy, but it seems alright.
@SKTTR This game is primarily anti-seriousness
