Publisher No More Robots has released some intriguing titles on Switch, and it's teamed up with developer Mopeful Games to confirm Fashion Police Squad, an FPS with a difference that's planned for the system (in addition to PC) in 2022.
Blending chunky pixels with modern visual touches, your job will be to use distinct weapons - like 2DYE4 Carbine Elite, Belt of Justice and the W.A.R.drobe Launcher - to sharpen up the badly dressed around the city. Each stage will then end with a fashion show, which looks like a hoot.
Fashion Police Squad features a fresh weapon-switching mechanic, as each new crime needs to be solved with a specific tool. Use your sewing machine gun to make those ill-fitting suits look tight, then switch to the Belt of Justice and help pull those trousers up.
Working out which weapons to use in which scenarios is a puzzle in itself, and finding ways to utilize your arsenal to take out deadly bosses, and discover secrets scattered throughout the city, is the key to making Trendopolis a safer, fashion crime-free place.
The campaign promises a world full of secrets and a quirky story to follow, and it looks like the sort of title that could certainly be fun on Switch.
It's a little way off yet, but let us know what you think of this initial look at Fashion Police Squad.

Yeah, this actually looks like a lot of fun. It’ll be interesting to see how it turns out!
Ok. I don’t like FPS games, like at all. However this is hilarious. I will have to try this one.
Fashion Police Squad Will Target The Badly Dressed...
I love my shooters.
Police Officer: "No shirt no shoes no serves."
Hopefully there will be friendly fire... yikes a fire engine red trench coat with a navy blue police cap and turtleneck. lol😝
Looks great, retro and modern... NICE!
When I saw the title of the article and the game, I instantly thought that this might interest a certain someone who's currently not frequenting the site anymore, but then I watched the trailer and then it became clear pretty quickly that I couldn't have been more wrong if I tried...
On a personal note: looks kinda fun, but not fun enough to want it, and I'm tired of faux-pixel art games.
