It turns out that our own Damien McFerran is Build-A-Bear Bonus Club member, even though he doesn't know how, and along with other members got a heads up on another Pokémon joining the range this week.
It's fire-type Scorbunny, a recent addition to the franchise in Pokémon Sword & Shield as one of its starters. It arrives online and in UK stores tomorrow (6th May) at 3pm UK time, with this page of other Pokémon toys a good bet for where it'll end up. It'll be worth keeping an eye out on your regional Build-A-Bear websites and stores to see if they also add the 'Rabbit Pokémon'.

There's no extravagant waiting list setup planned, it seems, so this is unlikely to be a launch with the madness that accompanied the Animal Crossing range. In any case, is this one you want to add to the collection?

Scorbunny in clothes is cursed yet kind of adorable
Is it just me or does it look a little like it was deflated?
You would think 'Goes on sale tomorrow' would be a more enticing tagline than 'Goes on sale this week'. Regardless, Scorbunny is my favorite Gen 8 starter, and it even looks like BAB decided to go ahead and put it in it's Shiny form too, which is extra cool to see! So, yeah, I'll be getting it.

It's okay, Build-a-bear seems overpriced for characters that have plushes widely available elsewhere.
The Pokémon Centre Scorbunny I have looks much better.

My comment didn't have much to do with availability.
My point was more that there are lots of different supplies of official Pokémon plushes, not just the Pokémon Centre ones.
I'm not a fan of build-a-bears limited availability practices though.
Eh, I was the first to get mine in the local store near me. Maybe the scalpers will target more popular Pokémon like possibly Espeon and Umbreon, and Mewtwo, if they should come out.
