UK physical chart data is now in for the week ending 24th April, revealing that Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury is Nintendo's highest charting title of the week.
The game joins four other Switch exclusives in the top ten, including last week's number two, Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Last week's top game, FIFA 21, falls to second, with the Switch version accounting for 19% of this week's sales, ahead of the Xbox One and PS5 editions.
Taking top spot is the ridiculously named (and also brand new) NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.... Monster Hunter Rise is now down to 11th, while Super Mario 3D All-Stars is now down to 26th.

Have they fixed Cyberpunk then? Or some other reason that folk are buying it again? Still not available digitally on Playstation as far as I can see, so had assumed it still wasn't good enough even with all the patches
@dmcc0 playing it now on PS5 and is finally playable, still some weird stuff and a random crash here and there, but in my opinion is now playable. The game is nice but nowhere near the level of quality CDPROJEKTRED Advertised
Oh won't you look at that didn't expect to see GTA 5 here... 🙄
Shame Rise has fallen off the top 10 so quickly, i know it's sold well so far but I'd have like to see it reach 15+m lifetime on the Switch, it still can but that's probably a long shot if it's already fallen off the top 10.
Mario Kart 8 is GTA version 2.0 now.
Man it would be great to get a GTA V Switch port.
@BizarreJelly28980 at this stage I'm convinced that something happened between Rockstar and Nintendo that we haven't been made aware of that essentially played a huge role in stopping Rockstar from supporting the Switch.
I can't think what it is but I'm fairly convinced something has gone down behind the scenes that's caused this.
From a business perspective, there's no logic in Rockstar holding off support anymore.
Even more so when you look at how Sony are leaving Japan and the only way to effectively access that market now is through Nintendo.
Congrats to Nier! I'm playing it now, and it's fantastic.
Glad to see that Nier Replicant is doing well.
@Hobbesyall It's one of those games than I had zero interest in playing before release, but having watched a few videos highlighting some of the problems it had, it actually looks like something I'd like to play (once it's working). I'd heard the PS5 and Series X|S consoles were not too bad compared with the last Gen consoles, so by the time I get around to actually getting it it'll probably be really good on my Series S
Glad to see Yoko Taro jinxed NieR's sales to some extent.😄 Me, I'm definitely in the market for the game and everything else Drakengard/NieR, but... you know where.
@Razer Rockstar literally just outsourced LA Noire to Switch a few years ago. But that was before RDR2 happened and grew its own online mode to service on top of GTA5's.😅
@Razer It sucks if that's true bc the GTA and Red Dead series would be perfect for Switch but I don't think Rockstar games are completely ruled out bc L.A Noire came pretty early in the Switch's life.
@dmcc0 I can only vouch for PS5, but you can get the game for 30 euros or less nowadays, and in it’s current state it is a fair price to play for cyberpunk
@Hobbesyall I think it's one of those games that'll be really cheap once all the issues are sorted and any DLC is released. We'll likely get a deluxe edition at some point in time, so will probably wait for that. I'm in no hurry to play TBH
It's good to see NieR Replicant starting off with a bang. I noticed it was totally sold out on U.S. Amazon as well.
FIFA on Switch has 19% of sales?!?! =O this seems surprisingly high.
@dmcc0 smartest choice
@Razer Any third party release to reach 10 mil (worldwide/lifetime) would be an amazing achievement. I would set my sights on that number as the ultimate goal.
@BizarreJelly28980 yeah hopefully not. I'm hoping to be wrong here more than you are lol.
@BlubberWhale True. Still I'd have like to see Rise in the top 10 still, barely been a month.
Wow, Nier in top spot is something I would've never thought.
Crazy, awesome, and absolutely wholesome.
I haven't got it day one as I very rarely do, but once my backlog is lighter I'll definitely get it.
Automata is in my all-time top 3.
I'm so glad Nier is finally getting the love it deserved...... If only Metroid could as well....
Nice to see Nier doing well. Can't wait to pick up Replicant myself.
@Hobbesyall Well, they did make the massive mistake of over-promising a whole lot... Whenever a company does that, I tend to not buy their game, and most of the time I was right to at least wait for the price to drop a whole lot and the actual game to kind of catch up with the promised game.
Doesn't mean we're not all breath-taking though.
Great to see Replicant doing well. I purchased day one but have just started Automata and about 10 hours through it.
@KoRn1619
Not really, it's a very well known license that appeals to people who don't really pay attention to reviews, what a game entails etc plus Granma will buy it for her Grand kids
Wait, Ring Fit Adventure is Nintendo.
Neir, a game that will be 15 bucks in a couple of months.
The first one was just mehhh and I expect this one to be as well. Won't know until I can get it for under $15usd. I give it 2-3 months.
Nier Replicant √1.5 sold about half as much as Automata at its UK retail launch, which implies ~5,000 copies sold. Really slow week for UK retail.
Returnal and New Pokemon Snap both launch this week. I expect strong numbers for both games, especially Returnal as it is the first new big PS5 game since Hitman 3.
@Razer It surely deserves top ten more than a few of Nintendo’s own titles, that’s for sure.
@hadrian valid points. Also, I'm sure there are plenty of people that have the Switch as their only modern console.
