The latest batch of My Nintendo game discounts for Europe has now gone live, giving players the usual chance to grab a handful of games at reduced prices.
There are some pretty big names on the list this time around, with major Mario, Zelda and Animal Crossing games all available at discounted rates. As always, you can take advantage of these discounts by simply using the required Gold or Platinum My Nintendo Points listed below.
- [3DS] 40% off Super Mario 3D Land: 80 Gold Points
- [3DS] 40% off The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D: 80 Gold Points

- [3DS] 50% off The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX (Virtual Console GBC): 30 Gold Points
You can activate the discounts over on the My Nintendo website.
Nintendo has also shared some of the most popular 3DS themes. You can grab any of the themes below at no extra charge by spending 100 of your Platinum Points.
Will you be grabbing any of these offers? Remember, your Gold Points can also be spent on Switch software directly from the eShop or a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, too.

3DS discounts...still? 🙄
Nintendo can you please remind us how lucky we are to have this instead of Club Nintendo?
High time to put "old man yells at cloud" meme to rest. "Young fan yells at discount" trumps it on all fronts.
These are evergreen titles for the 3DS, that they're discounting them so heavily now shows they're no longer selling.
Arguably because their successors have all been on the Switch (even Link's Awakening) for many months or years now, and people have moved on.
Edit.. wrong post
Complain all you like, I just blagged Wario Land II for 2 quid 🤭
@RupeeClock I haven't totally moved on from the 3DS (maybe that's because I'm old and stuck in my ways) although I really don't find discounts on first party titles enticing. I either already own them or decided years ago I wasn't interested and no amount of discounts will change my mind. It would actually be more tempting if it was more obscure third party titles where my reaction would be more along the lines of, "I totally forgot about that game but I was kind of curious when it came out." Of course apart from their small share from licensing, Nintendo wouldn't get much for encouraging people to buy old 3rd party 3DS games.
Makes me want to check for Majora's Mask on eshop, but I got stuck halfway into Ocarina of Time and never finished.
Well, you know, these are kind of worthy, I guess... but I believe most of the 3DS owners own these games already, and in physical form, no less.
But hey, adding the home themes in these has been cool. I just wish they would add more variety to them.
And also that 3DS Ambassador program as a prize. I wish there was a way to tell them how cool that would be, the basic customer support isn't really worth trying.
@KoopaTheQuick Three years have gone by now. If it hasn’t happened by now, don’t think it will at all
I still love the 3DS. In fact, I only got my first one last summer. Already own these titles.
See, if they changed the prices more permanently, these deals would be more interesting.
Lately, I've been dusting off the old PSP Go to finally add some downloads to it via my PS3 and both the PSP and PS1 downloads on PSN are now so derp cheap that I want to play a lot of stuff I missed. Nintendo could make some good money off the 3DS if they did a similar practice but yeah I get it, they value their games much more.. .
Nintendo is still releasing custom themes for the 3DS. Meanwhile, the Switch is still limited to white, and black.
And, yes, I'll go ahead and say it: I really miss the good ol' days with Club Nintendo when you could redeem your points for really cool physical rewards.
Surely that should be 80% off by now. Remember 8 years ago when a Nintendo game being 30% was a treat. Afraid retail have had these offers trumped forever.
I was holding back some gold points in case there was something good going but nothing for me here.
The discounts on OOT and SM3DL are pretty good seeing as that’s a discount on a game already reduced to £15.99.
Majoras Mask on the other hand is still £39.99 so I’d love a discount on that!
(Brought a 3DS second hand during lockdown and loving it!)
I think i already have all these themes.
Repeat 3DS themes. Great work Nintendo. Perfect for Switch owners.
@ryancraddock
Looks like you missed the other 5 games listed at the bottom of the page? There's 10 added in total.
Looking at this set of rewards, it does seem like an evergreen/best-of selection.
The final set of Wii U discounts had some tells that were obvious in hindsight, despite not actually being called out as the final set, and these look very similar.
So I think we may be seeing the final set of 3DS rewards.
My Nintendo is just a joke in Europe, give us some physical rewards like Japan.
Or bring back good ole Club Nintendo
All great. All played.
@Redax Understandable
