Sorry but am I the only one getting annoyed at how much information/videos they are giving out about this game?

I would just like to play it and find out what I can do, not watch 20 different videos and therefore don't need to play the game. There has been way too many spoilers from Nintendo on this one, or is it just me?

I guess we won't hear about any other Nintendo game until after Paper Mario is available.
It looks great but I'm not interested in this game.
Actually, didn't buy anything from Nintendo this year and I'm hoping that the second half of the year will be worth the wait.

@Lordplops I too have noticed that this Nintendo website has a habit of providing large amounts of coverage on major Nintendo releases and it baffles me no end.

@Bunkerneath there have only been 3 videos about it, which is pretty normal for Nintendo. ACNH, Luigi’s mansion 3, super Mario maker 2 and a whole lot more had TONS of videos beforehand.

@tourjeff yeah, it sucks how PM and ACNH are the only big Nintendo games this year so far, and nothing big might be coming out later. Maybe COVID-19 affected companies more than I thought?

@Apportal_SMM2 don't get me wrong, these IPs are huge and can make a lot of money for Nintendo but they are not appealing to me.
I think the Covid19 is not the issue at the moment. If I'm not mistaken there is an official comment from Nintendo saying that the games planned for this fiscal year are on track and that they would have problems with the development of future games if the current situation doesn't improve.
So, at least in Nintendo's case, we should not have major issues with release dates.
I do hope they will show us an IP that will surprise us. Hopefully it will be one of those dormant **cough - Wave Race - cough **ones that seem to be forgotten.

@tourjeff right, I forgot Nintendo said that. Yeah, this year has been a very bland year by Nintendo. Like last year though, all the main releases came out in September-December, so let’s just wait and see!

Jeez, Xbox and Sony fanboys never had it so good this year. While (((we))) only have this obvious upcoming mess and noodle gurl to go on...

@Bunkerneath yeah you are right, this article has revealed that there will be music in the game! totally ruined it for me, I thought it would be a silent game.

I wish they were posting some more details about the game and not the music but the music is nice

I think it could end up being a gem. It won't be as good as the first two games, but you can always get Bug Fables if you want a return to form.

I'm on the fence on this one. I'm still hurting from Sticker Star, and it doesn't help with the feeling that I made the right call by skipping Paper Jam and Color Splash.
Definitely won't get it at day one. I will probably watch a few reviews and see if it stays with the lifeless world with generic NPCs and sidekicks, and overused paper jokes and 3D "things"

@Hask honestly I don't even want a return to form, I just want a great game. Personally I don't think the weaknesses of the last few PM games come from not being like the predecessors. I'm all for changing it up, even if those changes retool the formula. Just needs to be good for me to like it.

@KoopaTheQuick @Bunkerneath this is nothing as far as spoilers but this is something they really need to do since paper Mario is an on the fence franchise that was made worse because of sticker star and color splash.

I'm waiting very impatiently for a simple review of

I have the money set aside for this one, first game i'll have bought all year as long as the review comes out good. Very excited/anxious for this one.

Ah the battle system, will it suck or will it be good?! The rest never was an issue.

I already paid for my copy, I'm glad to see the things I loved about color splash are returning! (like great music, cool environments etc. )

I really shouldn't get this game for a while because I still have to finish both 64 and Color Splash, but this amazing music is really tempting.
