After that first week has passed, everyone will then be able to access offers on the games mentioned above, regardless of whether or not they own one of those two games mentioned at the beginning of this article. These later discounts won't be quite as high as the initial offerings in the table above, but will last from 6th May to 26th May.
You might remember that QubicGames ran a similarly extravagant promotion over Christmas last year, giving away ten free games. If you missed out last time, this new sale could be a good chance to grab some games for very low prices.
Any of those games catch your eye? Will you be checking any out given their new, ultra-low prices? Let us know with a comment below.

I'll grab all of the ones that weren't in the Christmas giveaway, but out of those I only kept Mana Spark installed, and I haven't even played it yet. Most of their games seem like 5/10 or 6/10 games. Functional just nothing amazing. I am happy to see Blazing Beaks here though as beside Mana Spark, that is the only other one that takes my fancy.
Its great to see them trying to advance both themselves and the industry though, so bravo to them for that.
I still haven't played any of their games but I can appreciate a good promotion. I wonder how many sales they got over the Christmas period due to dominating the eShop charts thanks to their free game promotion.
Too bad (not for my wallet, though) I already own most of these.
Will do what I can to help out.
Some of their games are pretty good (Rekt, Akane, Manaspark). Others less so. But they're all at decent prices. I've had my eye on Utopia 9 for a while, looks pretty fun. Can't afford to pass it up at 49p.
Rekt is amazing. I had gotten it before the Christmas sale, but I don't regret the purchase at all. I thought it was basically a minigame, then realized I had sunk nearly 15 hours into it.
It is for a good cause, but these games are garbage.
All of the games I got for free before, and deleted? Great!
Bought Primrose Lake cos I keep buying these silly time management games, anyway it's ok if thats your scene...
@DevlinMandrake Utopia 9 and Rekt are probably my favorites of the bunch I've purchased, but for the most part these are bargain games to begin with. The closest analogy I can think of was the Simple series in Japan for PS1 and PS2.
To give a better idea, there was a Wii U game from the series: Family Party: 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade.
Akane and Mana Spark I enjoyed. still dip into Akane from time to time.
@Brydontk Akane is genuinely a blast to play. I got completely addicted to it for about a week. For this price, I think it's well worth trying.
Nice! I actually have Pocket Mini Golf on my wish list, so I'll be grabbing that.
Save me looking them all up, from the comments looks like Akane, Rekt, Utopia 9 are worth getting.
@Darknyht I'll grab Utopia 9 later when my son's off Splatoon.
@Brydontk Most of them are kind of mediocre, but in a good way. There's nothing stand-out about them but nothing terrible either, and the prices are reasonable for what they are.
I only have Not Not, Geki Yaiba Runner, Robonauts, and One Strike by them.
Robonauts is surprisingly good and fun for two people, easily worth 50 cents and I wish it had four player.
One Strike is also pretty cool for the 1-2 days you’ll play it or show it to friends. Worth the 50 cents.
Not Not adds an extra four player party game. It’s a decent time waster.
I don’t remember anything about Geki Yaiba Runner and I got it for free... so that one probably isn’t great.
And I still haven’t tried Mana Spark.
They won’t be amazing games, but they will be worth 50 cents.
Brought Rekt, but something is very amateur about its presentation and I can't get beyond that.
I have Mana Spark and Blazing Beaks - they are pretty good if not great.
Of all the games listed, Akane deserves a shot from anyone even vaguely interested. Surprisingly addictive and a good little blast of fun, that you can revisit from time to time. After seeing this article, I just gave my friend a heads up text to stop messing around and just buy the damn thing.
Blazing Beaks is kinda neat...
#RaceDieRun is a surprisingly good game, despite its terrible name.
I already have most of these from that 10 free game promotion they did
I have 2 Fast 4 Gnomz on 3DS and enjoyed it, for 99c I'll upgrade to the Switch version (Geki Yaba). idk about the rest though.
Actually most of Qubicgames stuff is decent if not good. At these prices there are some bargains.
decent bargains!
Mana spark is REALLY good
You want to see the list of their games, in order of MetaCritic score, it's right here: https://www.dekudeals.com/games?filter[publisher]=QubicGames&sort=metacritic
Many doesn't have enough reviews to have a score, though.
You're welcome!
@jipiboily This is the problem of MetaCritic though. These are not aiming to be blockbuster AAA titles. They know their price range and are programmed to it.
That is why I said the Simple series because they were designed from the start as budget titles. Each basically does a simple gaming idea good enough to justify their rock bottom price, but they are never going to be must-haves on any system.
I got Geki Yaba already when they had it for free. Will that count for those deals? Yes or yes?
@Darknyht Ah, the Simple series. Those games really padded my PSOne library back on the day and some of them weren't bad either.
I'm interested in Pocket Mini Golf. Since I already have Geki Yabba and Robonauts, I'll just get the golf game. Seems interesting to me
Oh no! Not this crappy developer again!
are there games any good? or worth buying.
