The third episode of the Pokémon: Twilight Wings anime has now gone live. You can watch it for yourself above.
This episode stars the fan-favourite Wooloo and continues the story laid out in the first two episodes. If you need to catch up on those first, you can find them available for free right here:

Am I the only one who thinks the show is too short? Is this really going to be the new region show, or is it a separate show?
Poor Wooloo. One day you'll make it.
It is a bit hard to tell but did they use 3D CGI-models to animate the characters? For me, it seems like CG, but rendered in a way so that it can emulate the 2D art style of a traditional anime.
@RareFan Hard to say, those are some very clean lines though. It could be that they used 3D models as a reference or perhaps traced them. That's something I do when I draw since I stink at perspectives.
@Kalmaro
Which software do you use to draw your characters?
Fluffy missile incoming!
@RareFan Inkscape to sketch out lines
Then I use blender to make models (with basic shapes, I'm no pro but anyone can make squares and circles)
Then I use Affinity Designer since it's one of the best vector art tools out there. It also has a pixel art mode for coloring. So after I pose the model I go into Affinity designer to color and do lines and I'm done.
Inkscape technically can handle all the line work. If one wanted to do coloring too, one could use Krita or Gimp. Inkscape is decent for solid colors and gradients but that's about it.
@Kalmaro
I heard the software Clip Studio Paint also has 3D models that people can use for character renders. But unlike Blender, it isn't free.
@RareFan Blender is very popular, which helps because that means there are a near infinite amount of tutorials on how to use it.
I bought clip studio a while back and then ditched it, Affinity Designer has superior vector and art tools imo.
With blender, I render my models in a way that shows the outlines of shapes, so tracing is very easy. From there I adjust lines to make it look more natural, like its drawn and not just traced, and then I'm good to go.
I keep forgetting about this. I'll be catching up on the episodes before long!
Way to make me feel guilty for beating it in every battle.
These episodes have more personality and charecter than the actual game
@DreamerDC If there's one thing consistent with pokemon, it's inconsistency
Glad to see that our precious boi Wooloo is in a pokemon anime
Wooloo is super adorable! But it's a downright shame that it evolves into such a mediocre ram-thing. I used one in my play-through and it was just painfully underwhelming.
I'd sill love a pillow size plushie to sit on my bed.
these are so, SO much better than the actual anime show.
