Nintendo has shared a list of the top 15 most-downloaded Switch eShop games of February 2020 in Europe, and the usual suspects haven't made it to the top.
Instead, this month sees Unravel Two take top spot as the most downloaded Switch game of the month, with DOOM 3 - no doubt boosted by the huge, recent DOOM sale - taking second. Animal Crossing: New Horizons actually made it into sixth despite not even being out yet, with players seemingly pre-ordering it in droves.
You can check out the full list below. It's based on the number of Nintendo eShop downloads (so no physical sales) in European territories during the whole month:
- Unravel Two
- DOOM 3
- Super Mario Odyssey
- UNO
- Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons (pre-order)
- DOOM (1993)
- Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition
- Minecraft
- DOOM II
- Super Mario Maker 2
- Spyro Reignited Trilogy
- Monopoly for Nintendo Switch
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
- Stardew Valley
Did you download any of these titles on Switch last month? Any surprises in the top 15? Tell us below.

Animal Crossing will dominate March, and most likely be present in the upcoming months as well. It’s digital sales are huge.
Makes sense, MK8 Deluxe wasn't on sale meanwhile 12 or 13 of the top 15 were on sale for a big chunk of February.
Was Unravel 2 on sale or why did it jump to the top? I'm super happy to see that, it's a lovely game and hey, any extra bit of motivation for EA to finally port some more of their games to Switch (Sims, Burnout, please and thank you) is nice.
Nice to see other games in the top ten other then first party titles.
Spyro, Doom and Skyrim are nice to see
I think Nintendo did right by not relaunching the Virtual Console.
Wii U charts were always just Zelda and Mario.
@StefanN It was part of the 2 week long Blockbuster sale for 75% off.
Doom 3 was such a good deal. Had to snag it as well for that price.
If Wario kart slipping off the list increases the chance of dlc or an "ultimate" style game for eg Xmas then fine by me!
UNO is on the top 5, yet when I play there's nobody there.
Bought Doom 3 on release back in the day and boy does it hold up well, and now portable to boot!
I bought DOOM 2 and DOOM 3 when they were on sale, so I now have every DOOM currently available on Switch. Looking forward to adding Eternal when it hits Switch! Haven’t tried DOOM 2 yet but I’m really impressed with DOOM 3.
So , when is Unravel 1 going to be released? How about other EA games?
@RPGamer There's a physical version in Europe, but I've never seen it in the wild, only online on places like Amazon and Ebay. I don't know if the digital version was discounted as well, which probably helped downloads.
@Dman10
No.

Hell yeah, monopoly...
Way to go Unravel Two!! Man I wish they'd bring the first over. Excellent games
Animal Crossing preorder already ballin. Can't wait for greatness.
Mario Kart is often bought with the system. The top 10 seems nearly all games that recently had heavy discounts. I know I bought Doom and Doom 2 for just $2.27 AUD each.
Good, no F2P games distorting the list - It's fine to count them I just really don't think it's fair to compare games that cost nothing to download and try to games you have to buy traditionally.
UNO? ****in’ UNO?
Okey dokey!
