Update: The same title is also available on the UK eShop for just £0.89. Other regions also appear to be running the same discount.
Original article: If Drawful 2 for 9 cents wasn't your kind of game, perhaps you would be more interested in Devolver Digital's absurdly wonderful puzzle-exploration game, Pikuniku.
At the moment, it's available on the Switch eShop in North America for just 99 cents. Here's the official Twitter announcement:
If you haven't played this game, or don't already own it, it was released last year in January. and supports a cooperative two-player mode. The game drops you into a colourful world, but not everything is quite as happy as it may seem. You'll be required to help peculiar characters overcome struggles, and uncover a deep state conspiracy.
For more information about it, you can read our review where we gave it eight out of ten stars.

It's 92% off on the Australian eshop and I'm willing to bet there are more regions included in the sale.
Got the game because of the sale and have been having fun with it. It is very charming.
I want to like Devolver Digital's games, but honestly, after playing a few, I gotta say they're just not for me.
I bought this game after Alex's video - so Devolver owes him some money - but it's still sitting in my backlog waiting to be played.
I do want to play it. But there are so many games and so few hours in the day...
Great dollar game!
Bought it, but really not for me. I played an hour and it felt more tedious than fun, though it captured my kids imagination.
The co-op mode is for a separate mode of puzzles that aren't nearly as good as BoxBoy and BoxGirl.
It's for sale at same price in Europe too.
As the eShop goes down for maintenance? Odd coincidence, I guess it's only down a few hours.
That video could not be more annoying...
For a buck, it’s a steal for its quirkiness alone. Admittedly, it’s a rather forgettable puzzle-platformer, but it’s a goofy adventure that’s fun throughout its short runtime.
I picked it up for that price but don't know when I'll try it due to a certain game that arrived in my mailbox yesterday.
Downloaded it over the weekend for my son as he used to watch Zack Scott playing it on YouTube. Bought if for my nephew too, they’ve been having a blast with it! Joyful little game, one of those that’s fun even just to watch.
$1.20 AU , already on the download
This looks very similar in style to that a game Nintendo published on the 3DS. It was eShop then had a deluxe physical release. Aaargh, can't remember it's name.
Pikuniku for a dollar?! I feel like that's illegal. Guys, get it before they notice that it's probably illegal.
No seriously, i love this game, played through it twice. One of those rare games that's overflowing with charme. It's really cute and overall just a very pleasant feel-good time. One thing to mention in particular which is a main factor of its charme is how the dialogues the characters say actually feel believable. The way the words are written. Idk, 99% of the time, videogame characters seem disconnected from their dialogue to me, because that's not how you would speak. It's too tidy. But Pikuniku has such believable lines. Maybe it's just me, but this is super rare for me and obviously a very specific thing i like about this game.
Anyway, get this game if you like cute things, charme and puzzle platformers!
@DrDaisy a lot of devolvers games feel more about the standout look with some rough gameplay with the exception of a few.
@DrDaisy
I was never big on the whole violence thing on which Devolver originally rolled in to town, but they've been publishing things I like lately.
Minit and GatoRoboto I enjoyed a good bit. They're mini versions of Zelda and Metroid with some fun quirks to them.
I'd be interested in picking this one up as well, if its on sale here in Europe. :3
@Pod It sure is, buddy. £0.89 in the UK and €0.99 in Europe!
Bought it three days ago and finished it last night. It's a great little game if you want a break from the backlog. It's not too challenging and the writing is funny.
@Pod You just named two of my favorite recent-ish indie titles. Minit and Gato Roboto are both so good!
Picked it up too. I've seen the Gamegrumps play it. It's weird but looks fun. No one to play it with during this confinement though...
Had a good time with it from start to finish, great value at that price. One and done glad to have played x x x x x
@Heavyarms55 same. And even with everything being closed it's hard to clear my backlog
@ROBLOGNICK Freakyforms Deluxe?
Nice, used gold coins to add this to my already sizable backlog. Between ACNH and PC Engine Mini, I’ve got way more than I can play right now.
