It's now been exactly a week since Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses was added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster as a DLC fighter. To continue celebrations, this week Nintendo is hosting a special tournament for fighters who wield bows, spears, and axes.
According to Japanese Nintendo, the event is officially titled "Byleth teaches everyone practical skills" and will begin this Friday, on 7th February, and lasts for a total of three days (as usual). Above is a look at the event artwork from the official Super Smash Bros. Twitter account.
As you can see it includes fighters like Byleth, Villager from the Animal Crossing series, Pit from Kid Icarus and the fellow Fire Emblem character, Corrin. Will you be participating in this upcoming event? Tell us down in the comments.

Yes, it may be mind-blowing for some, but Fire Emblem is about more than just swords.
I love these little character photoshop stuff they do for special events
Do any of the fighters even use spears?
@Jasonmd
Yes, Corrin morphs parts of their body, mainly their hands and feet into spears to poke their opponents like so:

If that doesn't look like a spear to you, then I'm not sure what to tell you. Corrin was always a dual weapon user between their sword and spear/lance attacks whether people realized it or not. That is why they're barefoot because they need to keep their feet ready to transform at any time. XD
This sounds really fun definitely gonna have to join for sure! 😁
No, I'm utter trash at this game with any other character than Terry.
I love playing Byleth. But I do feel like they are a little too strong.
Something about female villager being edelgard just seems too perfect
@Smashfan502 actually there are also Bowser, the Koopalings (inside their kart), Banjo & Kazooie, Diddie and Donkey Kong, Ridley... Others? I don't remember them all... Or maybe you meant only human-like characters
I should really watch out and read again after writing 😋. I know it's not an excuse but I'm not an english speaker so I do make mistakes, especially with letters that are not used in my language.
You can see the Koopalings feet when they expel from the kart (down+B). Banjo is totally Bear-foot and Kazooie Bird-feet 😁
