Tempted by Rad Rogers and Battle Chasers. Got Darksiders, De Blob and Red Faction already, otherwise that would have been good.
I can't see "de Blob" without thinking of Clayfighter's announcer saying "The Blob versus The Blob."
Anyone played de blob 1 or 2? Thinking about snagging it but don’t know too much about it
I'm not a fan of THQ Nordic at all. They have some decent games but their ports are more often than not, terrible. Dodgy framerate, screen tearing, graphical glitches, clipping, tiny text, unoptimised controls, there's always something with their games. I'd have been tempted by Titan's Quest at that price, a game I was once looking forward to, but unsurprisingly, going by reviews it's another terrible port. They pump out so many games each year, giving gamers quality ports seems to be the least of their concerns.
Darksiders 1 and 2 are both some of the best ports out.. ...
I wish Red Faction were just a little cheaper.
@TDRsuperstar2 : it's fun and creative at the same time.
It plays like most 3D platformers, you have to paint buildings or blocks of buildings to certain colors by touching them or jumping to them.
By the end of a course, you'll make a colorful scene instead of the grey one they were at the start.
Of course, there are enemies, too and sometime you also race against the clock.
I would recommend the Blob games to all.
Thank you for the heads up!
I still have around 6 dollars left on my USA account so I'm thinking Giana Sisters.
I already have in on PS4, part of a super cheap Humble Bundle but I never got around to play it to the end because I rarely have the time to play in front of the TV.
I got most of these for cheap on PS4 in a Humble Bundle sometime.
Darksiders 1 and 2 and Titan Quest are just fantastic games! Really good adventures await the players!
You like Diablo? Titan Quest is a fantastic mythological take on it with SO MANY builds for the main hero!
You like Post-apocalyptic action gameplay with badass Main hero that just go in the fight and walk out with the head of the enemy? Darksiders go you covered on that!
@Jayofmaya Battlechasers is one of the best games I have played this year. Great game.
I wish we got sales like this in Europe
@Ashfordwasp
Set up a US Account, buy a US Eshop Topup Card from Pcgamesupply. Switch is completely multi region, no need to be restricted in your shopping.
only 33% off for almost decade old games? huge sale.
@Ventilator I did too, but can you play PS4 on the go? And remote play does not count.
@OorWullie I could have sworn that they released a patch post release for Titan Quest that fixed some of the issues?
@Dman10 he didn't try any of the games
@Zuljaras isn't Titan Quest pretty buggy on the Switch? I remember seeing a lot of stuff about it on Reddit, it's what caused me not to buy it when it was sale in the past.
@Dunan It is buggy on every console. They patched the stuff. But the only bad bug I found was that the artefact items if wearing made some of your items to disappear. They patched that with the latest patch.
Both Darsiders 1&2 are 19.99 physical on amazon.
Darksiders and Battlechasers are among my favorite games on Switch
The real shame here is that Sphinx: and the Cursed Mummy isn’t included in the sale
@construx would you say 1 or 2 is better?
I wish this sale cut prices a bit deeper, would have gone after darksiders 1 + 2
Might have to get me some Rad Rogers at that price. Been a hot minute since I've played a Duke sidescroller.
Also, This Is The Police is outstanding, and proof that John St. Jon can in fact act.
Really enjoyed Darksiders picked it up on black friday and already 100% the normal game, probably won't play apocolyptic mode just because i'm generally not that interested in replaying games on harder difficulties. I do plan to pick up Darksiders 2 at some point and finally play through it as well, but it's going to have to wait.
@TDRsuperstar2 2 is one of my top five games of all time! For whatever that’s worth
The fact that I can’t get De Blob on sale because the sale is limited to the US vexes me greatly.
I really enjoy Battle Chasers: Nightwar is a great deal! Love that game!
I was hoping Sphinx would be among them...missed it the last sale. 😕
None of these games excite me.
@Ventilator I bought that same bundle. We need some of them were n the Switch.
@TDRsuperstar2 I know you didn't ask me if Darksiders 1 or 2 is better, but I'd say Darksiders 2 follows the formula of "if it aint broke, don't fix it," and considering the puzzles are more well-thought-out and require more steps than most DS1 puzzles, I like the second one better. However, they are both worth playing.
@Chlocean I was talking about de blob lol but thanks!
@TDRsuperstar2 I haven't played number 2 but I can imagine they improved on it, in some way. There were some really frustrating bonus levels with awkward platforming in number 1 which I didn't finish, but that was really my only gripe. Either is good, I'm sure. Try a review of 2, anyway.
@Dman10 Some says PS4 can be played on the go, but it never worked with my VITA.
Either way that's only streaming to a very small screen.
Switch is by far the best portable ever.
@Ventilator PS4 never worked with my Vita as well. PSP was my all time favorite handheld until Switch came along. Love my Switch, Switch is what Vita should have been.
@Dman10 : Yes. VITA had design flaws that ruined the sale, but also ruined AAA third party support already after .1st year.
Overpriced small memcards only Sony made mainly, but also no TV Output like PSP had. VITA TV console didn't sell much, as no games requiring touch screen were playable on it.
