Later this week, the 2019 Game Awards are taking place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Although Reggie Fils-Aimé has now officially moved on from his role as Nintendo of America's president, it turns out he'll still be making an appearance at this year's show. After all, he's been a huge part of the industry since he walked out on-stage at E3 2004.
According to The Game Awards Twitter account, he'll be one of the presenters:
Will he be part of something bigger, though? Some fans seem to think so – we'll just have to wait and find out. What exactly he'll be presenting has not yet been revealed, either.
The Game Awards 2019 is once again hosted by Geoff Keighley and is scheduled to take place on 12th December at 5:30pm PT / 8:30pm ET (so that's 1:30am GMT the following morning). It will run for roughly two and a half hours and is expected to feature "around 10 new game" reveals.

Knew it was happening. I remember the two exchanging tweets where Reggie asked if he could make an appearance, and Geoff seemed more than happy to accommodate!
It would be neat if Reggie came back for future Game Awards.

Him presenting a new Zelda trailer would really make the night, and would be a great way of remembering his contribution to the industry.
Is anybody ready for Reggie presenting a World Exclusive Reveal of a game coming to PS4/One /PC? Since he's no longer working for Nintendo, it's possible.
This is some wholesome news right here 😁
Dude(s)... he’s coming back too see Mother 3 on through! An entire Earthbound collection!
Reggie goes up on stage, presents the best family game award, and simply says: "Now, here is a game that you've all been waiting for." The lights dim, and you can suddenly hear screaming across the world as a mother trilogy gets announced. After the trailer, you see Reggie walk off into the distance, so that his body may be ready for next year.
Maybe he'll be presenting the Best Family Game award since Nintendo's going to win that award no matter what. lol
My hype is ready.
Awesome! Maybe he can announce something great! Great to have you represent again Reggie!
My bed is ready!

He’ll get to do the announcement he was supposed to do last year: metroid prime 4 trailer and metroid prime trilogy hd
@Friendly has it been a year since the logo reveal already?
@Moistnado 2.5 years... E3 2017
But in 2018 he had a shirt on with the Metroid logo, while standing next to the presenter of the game awards
I want him to present the "new Donkey Kong experience"
My excitement is ready!
Will he really get to announce anything hype for Nintendo? seeing as he doesn't work for them anymore. As long as Death Stranding doesn't win Game of the Year,or this whole show will lose any credibility it's built up over last few years, where it has somewhat improved each year
The Return of the King
Glorious
Your award is ready.
