The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition (Devolver Digital, 10th Dec) - The Talos Principle is a philosophical first-person puzzle game from Croteam, the creators of the Serious Sam series, and written by Tom Jubert (FTL, The Swapper) and Jonas Kyratzes (Infinite Ocean). Been playing King of Cards, it's absolutely fantastic so far.
Very excited for Jamestown+ to unlock! Big fan of the game, a very accessible Shmup that encourages player growth and mastery with a very steady and manageable difficulty curve. And the 4 player coop works very well, to boot.
Almost had a heart attack when I loaded up the eShop after the Indie World Showcase and saw the Steins;Gate games there out of nowhere. Steins;Gate 0 is the one game that I've wanted to play more than any other for a fair while but I've been holding out for an English release on Switch. Promptly downloaded both that and My Darling's Embrace and can't wait to play them.
Probably nothing else for me this week (besides the Shovel Knight games considering I have Treasure Trove). Tempted by Gensou SkyDrift, especially while it's on sale, but not 100% sure on it.
Can recommend Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger to anyone, if you like Westerns or shooters with nice stages and a story then you'll love this game. One of my favourite games on the PC now ported, and if I have to believe the reviews, a very good port at that.
Fingers crossed that they'll port the other games from the series over too.

Bought Call of Juarez after playing it on Steam, cause it's really fun and decently priced. Would do the same for Talos Principle if it was cheaper. For anyone that hasn't played it, it is totally worth it!

Yooka Laylee is on offer for the first time too so time to take the plunge on that one. There's also a massive discount for the Telltale batman series so might be tempted to check that out having never played a Telltale game before.
Happy to see Frogger getting a (surprise?) release. Not the greatest game in history, but one of the better known games in the pre-NES days.
Hope Konami will release more of their arcade games.
@Ooccoo_Jr Mickey Mania was developed by Travelers tales who now is most famous for the Lego games.
Telltale games did a lot of episodic adventure games, reviving Sam & max and Monkey Island and creating great stories based on lots of movies and comics.
So their Batman games will be an adventure game with some light quicktime action sequences maybe?
Heard some good things about them but never played them myself.
Edit: I would love to see Day of the Tentacle and Full throttle remake on the Switch those are so much fun.

Their names abbreviate the same and end with tale so it's easy to confuse them.
Both are competent at what they do, turning existing properties into their own brand of digital entertainment.
If it wasn't Christmas I'd probably pick up the new Yooka Laylee game. Maybe someone will buy it for me!

Dauntless is a chuggy mess with some of the worst frame rate I've seem on the switch so far!
Is any of Batman games worth it? It is a good price for both.
@antonio2244 If you don't mind not the best performance (Then again, Telltale games do tend to not always run perfectly on most systems), then £4 for each should be a steal, especially as the physical version of the first one is still pricey and the sequel never even got a physical release on Switch.

Talos Principle is now on Switch. We are now one step closer to Serious Sam on Switch.

Just to let you guys know: The King of cards update for the Wii u european version of Shovel knight is online. I already tried a few levels.
Dauntless is fun despite the stutters in the lobby and 2 seconds at the start of a hunt. Nothing game-breaking.
