It won't be long before you find yourself drifting into a brand new country with Mario Kart Tour, as the free-to-start racer is gearing up for a trip to Paris, France.
Starting at 10pm PT on Tuesday 5th November (so that's 1am ET / 6am GMT / 7am CET the following morning), Mario and co. will be taking to the streets of Paris for more shell-throwing, speed-boosting, and slipstreaming. You'll find famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe waiting for you in the Paris Promenade course, as well as new versions of both Princess Peach and Shy Guy.
The Shy Guy is pretty adorable, we must admit.

Ugh, finished 70 points behind that bloody person in first place in my cup thingy. Genuinely spent hours trying to pick up an extra 70 points but just couldn’t.

Hope there's a few more characters or tracks getting rolled out in this tour than what they've shown, but regardless, I'm still enjoying my time with the game, and even managed to score Halloween Rosalina today.
Another peach may be a little overkill this early on. French Daisy would've been a more logical step for me.
I'm really enjoying this game so far. But the gacha is really starting to get me! I miss a lot of karts and gliders!

I hope these characters come to the next console Mario Kart. I want character costume customization to be a thing in future releases. I also love the "Turbo" and "Reverse" type versions of the tracks. And the online weekly cups. I'm ready for MK9, already. Doubt it'll happen anytime soon.

@Hagemaru The rare characters for the event aren’t in the shop pool until after the event is over to encourage players to use the gacha (and certain rare characters, the “limited time” ones, aren’t added to the pool at all). King Boo won’t be available in the shop until after the Halloween event (and the LM3 King Boo won’t be available at all in the shop, it’s exclusive to the Halloween gacha).

@Hagemaru I hope you're right, I thought it was just a glimpse of the last course of a cup, with special challenges inside (crushing mini karts, going through rings etc), and that course is in the pool of courses for the whole two weeks.

Please stop spreading false information because 100% fact you did not have Peach Kimono in your shop for 10k nor did your son have Mario Hakama in his the store after the Tokyo Tour...
It even states that Spot Light characters are only on the banner and will not be in the Shop!
You can get High-Ends in the shop like Metal Mario, Dry Bowser, and Peachette since they were never Spotlights banners, but Drivers like Peach Komono and Mario Hakama will never show up in the shop especially not right after the tokyo tour ended!
The Spotlight characters can return in the future as a Spotlight again, but not in the Shop! All High-Ends as the 3 I mentioned when they are in the shop it will cost 12k and not 10k as you said...
That makes your statemen even more unbeleivable is if you saw Peach Komono and dont even know the true cost for the High Ends just raises more concern for your false accusations...
When you say something like you saw Spotlight characters that fans dropped major cash to maybe get in the pipe in the shop no one will believe you unless you have photo evidence or can prove what you say is true...

Also, in the App Nintendo states that Spotlights are only obtained through the Pipe as well as they might return in the future as a Spotlight again... It will be a long time before they return to the Spotlight and never will be in the coin shop...

The app explains they can return as a Spotlight again but never in the shop! That’s the whole point of the spotlight banner is to get people to use their Rubies on the pipe and it’s a limited special item!

You are saying there could be 10k High-Ends in the shop and 12k which is completely wrong because the 3 High-Ends I mentioned that you can get in the shop always cost 12k in the shop.

There is no way a limited time driver that fans were buying rubies for the pipe would suddenly after the tour ended put them in players free coin shop. That would not make any business sense and they definitely did not put those drivers in your store.
Don't you think if that was possible there would be many posts of players saying they got those characters from the coin shop? So far, you are the SOLE person on the entire internet to say they saw 2 Past spotlight characters in their coin shop.

Even in the app when the spotlight banner comes out the fine details if you read it says they will not be available after the tour ends and might come back as spotlights again in the distant future..
Meaning that any item on the spotlight banner can only be obtained through the pipe pulls during that limited time!!!!!! They will never be in the shop!

For fact if free to play players were able to get those 2 past spotlights in the coin shop the internet would be going crazy with posts advising people not to spend tons of money on the banner if those Special Drivers just pop up in the store right after the tour...
No one would feel the urge to spend real money if they knew after the tour the spotlights drivers would just pop up in the Free store.. Keep Dreaming.

You are definitely confused because the part you say:

Yes, those costs are right but all have a set cost.... For instance, all Normal drivers are always 800, Gold Drivers Like Reg Boo are always 3k and all High-Ends are always 12k
Now for Karts and Gliders....
Karts can cost: 500 normal , 2k gold, and 12k for all High-Ends..
Gliders cost 500 normal, 2k gold and 12k High-Ends...
Nothing in the shop is for 10k
