Jay and Silent Bob fans are in for a treat next week, with Limited Run Games announcing the 8-bit companion brawler Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl is receiving a Limited Run for the NES, on 6th September.
Snooch to the nooch! Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl, the 8-bit companion brawler to Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch from the fine folks at @InterabangEnt, gets a Limited Run for the NES next Friday, September 6.
As usual, you'll be able to pick up a standard copy, or you can opt with the Collector's Edition. This fancier edition will include a copy of the game, a premium book-style rigid box, original 8-bit video game soundtrack, a poster, and art cards. Of course, the stock will be limited, so make you reserve a copy as soon as possible.

Mall Brawl started out as a free digital bonus game for backers of the Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch crowdfunding campaign. It is a 2 player co-op action with 8-bit graphics and gameplay similar to classic beat 'em up games like River City Ransom and Double Dragon II.

I’m so excited for the new movie, I don’t care how bad the first one was but it’s gonna be good. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are both back from Dogma so it genuinely could be a fun ride.
Makes a retron a little more tempting I guess.
Just give me a digital release!
@nessisonett hey.. i loved the first movie lol
@WhiteTrashGuy This. I don't even have an original NES, lol, that was just before my time.
Give me both games on eshop and a copy of Jay and Silent Bob's Super groovy cartoon movie, and we good.
@nessisonett Cool man. I liked Clerks but I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a Kevin Smith film. He kinda lost his voice he was given bigger budgets and stars.
But is the game any good? They say it was a bonus free game. Was it already released digitally?
Love all the films, Clerks is by far the best (especially as I used to work in a store and can recognise alot of the storys)
But are these NTSC only? Or will they also work on PAL system?
This illustration is quite a nice hommage.

I did not like the films so I doubt I would like the game.
@nessisonett This new film looks to be his worst to date! He hasn't made a good film since that Porno one.
He's made five classics so far which is more than most Hollywood directors' life work..
Yes!
And next time, Suzanne. BOOyah
@Bunkerneath It's region free, will work in both PAL and NTSC systems.
