Taimumari: Complete Edition, a retro-style platformer which first appeared on Steam back in 2015, is jumping onto the Switch eShop next week.
The game has players taking control of Himari, a young, female wizard who is travelling across various ages to restore balance in time throughout the world - aren't we all? Players must step into these various ages to find the five keepers and to reclaim the power you need to succeed in solving the world's mysteries.
The game's eShop listing notes the following features:
- Various levels
- A lot of abilities to learn
- Hardcore action gameplay, which won't leave you bored
- Control the time and space
- All villains are people just like you: learn what's the reason behind them turning into their current state, or just fight them without further ado
- Character levelling system
- Three difficulty levels
- Secret stuff and easter eggs
The game launches on the 9th August for £11.99; you can see it in action in the trailer at the top of this article (which contains a pretty cracking bit of music to draw you in).

Another double-dip. I wonder if "complete edition" implies inclusion of Legend of Himari (sold in a bundle on Steam), but the eShop page doesn't mention it specifically.
zzzzzz another one of these boring games
btw that guy with the green hair looks like a joker.
@Mr_Persona
The Joker auditioning for the role of Hamlet?
@rdrunner1178 I did audition once but they said I was too jovial when the deaths happened.
@rdrunner1178
idk who that is but if your talking about the guy with the light green hair and yes l'm talking about him.
just look at him, he is right there on the video picture.
... He does look like Joker trying to audition for a play
Did this originally release before or after Celeste?
Why does thos remind me of touhou
wow. looks like celeste, megaman, and r-type combined
Holy crap, that looks good
look it up on Steam Holy hell, I have this already?... this happens way too often
Seems like they cleaned up the anime art, which was REALLY crappy in the original
That seems really cool. I'm gonna get it
So it has ugly 8-bit style graphics, what appears to be excessively difficult platforming, and a stupid morality system. I'll most likely pass.
She looks ready to go to bed rather than saving the world or whatever.
An anime girl platformer? If I didn't have so many games fighting for my play time, this would be right up my ally!
@daebiya before....2015-16
Wow, look at those amazing graphics!
