Rocket League's Radical Summer Event Celebrates '80s Television Next Week

The Rocket League Radical Summer event moves onto its third and final phase next week. This '80s television-themed event will run from 22nd July until 12th August. It adds a new Premium DLC Car Pack featuring Knight Rider, brand new event items and a limited-time mode. Here's a rundown of what you can expect:

Knight Rider Car Pack - The Knight Rider Car Pack will be available for $1.99 (or regional equivalent). The pack will include the K.I.T.T. Battle-Car from the ‘80s television show Knight Rider, as well as K.I.T.T. Wheels and K.I.T.T. Gullwing Topper.

Beach Ball Game Mode - This limited-time 2v2 Soccar Game Mode is inspired by the physics of a classic beach ball, featuring a larger ball that floats and curves.

Iconic ‘80s Television Event Items - New items in the Radical Summer Event Store for this phase are:

DreamWorks Voltron Legendary Defender - Decal and Topper

WWE - “Macho Man” Topper and Ultimate Warrior Decal

There are also five Golden Eggs to collect per phase. These include items from Elevation, Victory, Turbo and Nitro Crates, so jump into online matches and start earning Cassettes. If you do end up missing any event items from the previous phases, there's no need to worry, as you'll be able to redeem leftover Cassettes for event items from all three phases until 19th August.
