So will the track and character be available after or will it be something like paid DLC? I haven't picked up a copy yet so, yeah...

This game is so great , make me think of Diddy kong racing with the Adventure mode and the hub!

It’s a shame most of us won’t get past the bronze rewards and so much of the content is locked behind playing online and being good online.... bit disappointed

It's great they're supporting the game post launch with so much content, but with it being Activision I'm wary this will turn into a lootbox/microtransaction situation... all this 'seasons' style unlocks is very suspicious. Especially with their track record (looking at you Black Ops 4)

@Jayofmaya no. The character will be added to the in game store where she can be purchased for in game currency.

The track was added to the level select screen so you can pick it any time you want

@mrmememan yes. You'll just have to collect the required amount of in game currency to buy her in the games store

@NintenDan_ The Pitstop is already an always online microtransaction store. Only thing they need to do is add the ability to buy Wumpa coins. There's also the horrible rotation which means you can't buy characters you want UNLESS the store lets you which is just a set up for lootboxes.

@mrmememan it's really, really good. Mario is my favorite franchise ever and even I can admit this is better than any Mario Kart game I've ever played

Tawna being playable is really cool, but let's be real... YOU ALL SAW SPYRO IN THAT CINEMATIC TOO!! HYYYYYPE

It's really cool to see that they're doing events like this, I wish Nintendo had done the same with MK8.
