The days of throwing money at expensive tarot readers to find out your fortunes are over with the arrival of Tarot Readings Premium, coming to Switch on 18th July. It's time to entrust all decisions regarding your future to a reliable, reasonably priced video game rather than the lady in the hut at the end of the pier.
Yes, throw out those horoscopes and let developer Crazysoft (yes, really) deal your fate with this premium set of digital tarot cards. The blurb from Nintendo's website is illuminating when it comes to the specifics of this software. Behold:
Use our tarot reading cards adviser to learn about your future and fate!
The tarot reading is a pack of playing cards used in parallel for divination in the form of tarotology and cartomancy. With our game you can have the full taro experience! It makes you feel like you are visiting a real gypsy tarot reader. She will shuffle the cards, let you choose them and then present them and explain their meanings. This is the most beautiful and fully animated Tarot card experience out there. The main deck style used is gorgeous and custom made. FHD resolution, made exclusively for us in 2019. All 78 cards are animated!
Finally, tarotology in full HD! This game follows similarly mysterious titles to arrive on the hybrid console such as Astrology and Horoscopes Premium and Palm Reading Premium. As you can see from the screenshots, the game also boasts the ability to save specific questions and the answers you received in order to refresh your memory at a later date.
The game is currently available with a pre-order discount that brings it down to £6.95 from its standard price of £7.99, so you've still got time to hurry along to the eShop if you're a eager to find out what the future has in store for you.
See, video games really do have all the answers! Will you be finding out your fate later this week? Let us know below.

ooooh mystical!!
This is just a load of crap.
Computer generated random cards is not the same as real word random cards.
It's not even a game
@Bunkerneath It's kind of the same unless you are superstitious.
To me it is virtual BS vs real BS. All you are missing with the virtual version is the smell.
As real as the real thing: unreal. It's like that talk:
Next please.
They'll let anything on the eShop!
"...It makes you feel like you are visiting a real tarot reader...."
True, if you pay them £7. It's like being ripped off.
All signs point to yes!
(no)
Came to see if Mystic Meg acually had a Sister that was somehow releasing a tarot videogame.
Was disappointed
I'm getting flashbacks of stuff that used to be released on DS.
Here's a fun trivia: tarot cards can actually be used in psychology as a therapeutic tool for self-reflection.
Can i use that game to predict the future ?
Oh, wait...
I already have Magic Conch Shell.
My prediction of the future for this game..
...it's so awesome, I have to put it in a Spoiler...
You will be disappointed
@Bunkerneath it’s an effective psychoanalytic tool, when used with respect and knowledge. It has very little to do with “telling the future”, it’s a common misconception.
You do raise an interesting point , what is the difference between computer and human random selection?
I think animating the cards is a gimmick and doesn’t appeal to me. I’d have preferred a traditional deck withnlong established symbolism and history.
@lemonjellydude crap like this just fills the eshop with junk.😂
I wish this game was about playing the tarot game instead. Because it's actually a game, not a divination tool.
One of the things on my bucket list is designing a Tarot deck that makes it 100% clear it's for a game, not hokey magic.
Well at least it's the premium version, apparently more accurate than the ordinary version.
About as likely to communicate what will happen in your future as an actual, in-person Tarot reading, I imagine.
@KIRO I didn't say anything about telling the future.
I said that computer generated random follows a set procedure which is therefore not random, compared to real world random which has so many different variables which creates true random.
@Bunkerneath : Damn straight. This game is an insult to the integrity of fortune-telling!
@SmaggTheSmug French tarot decks are like playing cards for number cards and have folk illustrations on the major arcana instead, you can find them on Amazon. Fournier is the brand I have a deck of.
@Rhaoulos you could just burn some incense plus don't shower for a week and voilà!
Finally, Taboo: The Sixth Sense on NES has some modern competition. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOiaYTA82us
@mist I imagine it's only going to get worse because of the switch lite.
The cards are telling me that they cannot see this game in my future. But they can see a hamburger in my future, which is joyous.
Checks google
Yep, you can already get a computer-generated tarot reading for free.
@Ooyah
Would you be prepared to share? I am malnourished and in desperate need of sustenance!
@mist
For sure! But who knows? Maybe the fates will bless us with TWO hamburgers! But... allow me to consult the cards again... do I also see chips? 🍟
@Bunkerneath future thing was just a general comment , not aimed at you specifically.
Thanks for the expansion on “random” . I find all that kind of thing fascinating and that’s before we start thinking about quantum realm
@Ooyah
May the cards bless you with 1000 hamburgers!
@mist
500 each! I'm a sharer all the way! 😆
So does this mean Persona is finally coming to Switch?
