For a game about digital card battles, Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission looks rather dramatic based on the new six-minute trailer Bandai Namco released at Jump Festa 2019. This second official clip about the Dimps developed title runs through the basics of the game in Japanese while showcasing plenty of new footage.
If you missed the original announcement, the game described as a "super card battle adventure" includes more than 1,160 cards and 350 Dragon Ball characters from the long-running series. There's also a glimpse of the new villain Cirrus, the game's story mode, seven-verse-seven battles and the creation mode. The game appears to be filled with plenty of customisation options as well. As previously noted, this iteration is based on the existing arcade version.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission will launch in Japan on 4th April and is expected to make its way across to the west after the title was rated by the Australian Classification Board in November. According to a recent Play-Asia tweet, the Asia release will include English subtitles, meaning local fans can consider importing a copy of the game.
Take a look at the trailer above and tell us if you're interested in playing a Dragon Ball themed card game on the Switch.

Seriously though i watched every episode of the original dbz, i don't know what the hell I'm looking at here.
played xenoverse2, too... still don't know what this is.
Ooh. English Asian retail release.
On it.
Awesome i need this!!!
@aznable
He actually looks way more like a cross between Hit, Cell, and Syn Shenron.
At first I thought the guy was Syn Shenron but he appears to be a new character.
l love how Dragonball has expanded over the past few years thanks to Heroes and Super and provided more new content for these games. No more just reusing Sayain, Namek, Android and Buu arcs.
Perhaps it’s just my taste but I was never able to understand the fascination some people seem to have with this ridiculous franchise. Is it nostalgia glasses or something more 🤔
@NotTelevision Nailed it with the very beginning of your sentence. It's an individual's taste. I personally love Dragon Ball but can see why others wouldn't.
@NotTelevision Nostalgia does play a part for some people, others re fascinated by its world and writing, others like how the characters are written (Like Gohan and Vegeta) and others just like to see the fights and screaming.
@RupeeClock Funny enough most Dragonball Side games have had Hit looking villains made by Toriyama. It could just be his prefered style when designing for those games, but just look at the main villain for Jump Force.
@aznable It's a brand new villain. I don't blame you for being confused since Dragonball Heroes is basically a Fanfiction Dragonball game to the max. They do alot of crazy things and make alot of crazy looking characters for it.
Did I see a Zeno card? Is that the Exhodia of Dragonball Heroes?
@aznable Unlike Frieza, he don't chuckle.
I still don't understand this game very much (may have something to do with the fact that I don't speak Japanese or play many card-based games) but it certainly looks cool. It's also awesome for Switch to have its own exclusive Dragon Ball game. I hope to get a better look at it, provided it makes it to the West.
@patbacknitro18 i hope its not... really really fan-fiction-y. What are those tentacles on his head for? wait, i don't want to know...
@aznable You jest sir, however, Dragonball Super already made that connection when Goku shook the Galactic King's......Tentacles
@patbacknitro18
what a brave new world this is
Dont understand how its played.
