Indie developer Aurélien Regard and publisher Playdius have revealed that the upcoming adventure game Away: Journey to the Unexpected will launch on Nintendo Switch on 7th February.
If you haven't heard of this one before, the game has you playing as a protagonist with no heroic or skilled fighting traits - instead, your one and only skill is making friends. Aww. Away: Journey to the Unexpected is described as "a feel-good first-person adventure" that combines action, negotiation, rogue-lite elements, and a colourful cast of characters who can be recruited to fight as part of your team.
A new video has been shared to confirm this new release date and explain what you can expect to find in the game.
Are you intrigued by this one? Will you consider picking this one up on 7th February? Tell us below.

Yeah, I'm digging the look of this one! Really like when indie devs get ambitious and try to create new types of experiences.
This is a neat looking game, reminds me I need to go back and play Skyrim.
The Frenglish tho
So it's a Undertale Rouge like
/sarcasm
Looks interesting, and I like the style.
This looks very cool.
this looks great, might even get it day 1!
This looks good. Keeping an eye out for this one
Nice, I may check this out.
Physical option?
Did Akira Toriyama do the artwork?
This kind of reminds me of Dragon Quest Swords a bit, except it's more free roam in the combat areas and not just the hub town.
Really digging the attitude in this one!
Not sure about the game but I like the music
So.....you make friends by hitting them with sticks and shooting them with fire?
Anyone know if that works in real life?
@Prizm Not sure, but I wouldn’t recommend trying it.
