Cat Quest saw the worlds of felines and action-RPGs finally brought together in the ultimate genre crossover, and the end result was a silly yet engaging adventure full of loot, battles and anthropomorphic knights. Well, it's time to sharpen your claws yet again because developer The Gentlebros has confirmed its sequel is now in development, and it's also headed to Nintendo Switch.
The new game, entitled Cat Quest II: The Lupus Empire, will be the studio's next project, so no there's no word just yet on when the second instalment will be headed to Nintendo's hybrid hardware. Thankfully, a trailer will be incoming soon, so at least we'll get to see what's new in the kingdom of Felinegard.

That's nice. I hope they focus on replayability this time around though. The first game was fun, but there was no incentive to play it again afterwards. I hope they improve on that.

@admwllms At the risk of ruining a joke/spoiling, this "Lupus" is probably referring to wolves.
Or maybe it could be a double meaning depending on how the story plays out.

I feel like getting the first Cat Quest game now. Didn't think much of it to start with but on second thoughts might give it a go as I don't have as much time for games as I used to.
I don't know much about this game, but now I really want for there to also be a Lepus Empire with an army of horrifically scarred cybernetic warrior rabbits.
