If you are looking forward to the release of Dark Souls: Remastered on Switch on 25 May, you'll probably want to pick up the lovely Solaire amiibo, which was announced in the most recent Nintendo Direct. Because, why wouldn't you?
Solaire of Astora is a 'Warrior of Sunlight' who appears throughout the original Dark Souls. You can use the Solaire amiibo to unlock and perform the iconic "Praise the Sun" gesture.
Pre-orders for this amiibo have just opened up on Amazon UK, so you probably want to get in there quickly as it will likely sell out soon. It's priced at £12.99 for Prime members and £14.99 for non-Prime members.

Aaaaaaaand... it's gone. Never mind.
Dark Souls: Remastered is a lot cheaper than I thought it would be - it's convincing me to take the plunge and buy it
I did ASAP and I got one... It's also expensive for an Amiibo: 25€. Is there a reason beside its rarity?
I wonder if it has some hidden functionality for Breath of the Wild...
Coming soon: Dark Souls - Lunaire of Astora amiibo
With interchangeable saucepans.
@BranJ0 Base offer it for £28.85 if you don't mind it being a day or two late.
Woop. I got the game on order yesterday when it was £29.99 - £2 for Prime members (that's me that is) and I got the Amiibo today.
Buy an Amiibo to do a pose? Nah I am good, even it does look nice.
However I will pick the game up though and rage endlessly.
@NewAdvent Yes, the only time I bought Amiibo for their functionality was to unlock costumes for Link in BotW. I got almost the entire Smash series (only missing the last wave because I missed preorders and still no restock) just because I like having them sitting on my shelf, plus some others (Mario 30th, Splatoon 1st wave, Animal Crossing bought for €3 each)
And only available in Australia via Nintendo's official eBay page... It's like they just decided to cut out the middle man and scalp them themselves. Now I'm seriously considering dropping my pre-order and skipping this altogether .
DO WANT ! Still playing it on PC after buying it 18 months ago (damn you Artorias) so will probs pass on the game but highly recommend!!
GUESS I CHECKED TOO EARLY AT 6AM. And please, don't yell at Nintendo for this like everyone else is, this is total 3rd produced and in the US at least it's a deal with Gamestop and Bandai.
Aaaaand it's gone.
I only buy the ones from games I’m already into like Zelda and Metroid ones. Will have to play the game first.
Gamestop Ireland had some this morning! Thought I’d missed my chance but managed to grab one (as work started!)
