A little while ago Capcom released Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Revelations 2 on the Switch, with some unique features such as amiibo support, HD Rumble (which is quite well done) and motion controls. We reckon they're pretty good experiences - the first is solid as expected, and the second is pretty impressive considering its roots on PS4 and Xbox One.
Now Digital Foundry has done its analysis. It's a mixed bag all told, which isn't entirely surprising, but there's praise for the way the experience stacks up in portable mode in particular.
Check it out below.
Have you tried either of these titles out on the Switch?

Played the first and loved it.
You mean its roots on PS3 and Xbox360? It should look good on the vastly superior Switch.
Enjoying them both so far, though finding two a bit too action filled (ala resi6) than spooks.
Revelations 1 was a pretty decent compromise between the spooky-scary atmosphere of early RE games and the all-out action gameplay of RE4+. Still need to play Revelations 2.
Oy. Just more of the same. Nintendo games, Indies and simple games like Megaman 11 and some jRPGS like Lost Sphere (and hopefully next Tales) is what Switch is for in my book. Games that are more cartoony in general.
Just no way I'm doing this many cuts when I am at home just for my 2hr commute and business trips.
@8-Bit_Zorldo And it looks so good on the 3ds, quite impressive for a realistic-looking title.
Played them both on other systems, i have no interest in playing them again on switch, not much of a fan of Arcade Resi. Now outlast 1&2 look more like it for horror, yep i will have some of that
revelations 1 was one of the best games on 3DS! really enjoyed the game. great showcase of the 3DS' power
Pretty much what I was expecting from their analysis.
CONFESSION: I am tired of Digital Foundry counting the pixels.
What a mess. 20-60fps
Honestly, can you tell the difference between 50 and 60 fps? I can't. :/
@Cosats no one is forcing you to watch them
@Mr_Horizon you dont feel the difference you feel the change. Sudden changes cause judder
@Menchi187 it's not a mess at all. Locked 30fps would have been best but calling it a mess is absolutely ridiculous.
Guess haters are gonna hate though
@kobashi100 20-60fps is a mess. It doesn't affect me, I played these games already in much better forms already. I do hate bad performance though, as does any logical person.
Loving the first one. The only problem I have with it is the pro controller doesn’t support gyro controls so I play mostly handheld mode.
@Menchi187 it's not bad performance though. Could it be better yes but calling it bad. You are trolling!
Where in the DF video did they call it a mess? A mess is revelations 2 on the vita or rime on the switch.
DF called it a good port. Did you bother listening to the final analysis?
I could also enjoy revelations 2 on PS4 but then I can't play it on the train to work so yeah I would rather play it on my switch.
Revelations 2 is generally a good port, thats the common opinion across literally every major site that has reviewed the game but hey if calling it a mess makes you feel good about yourself then keep screaming them words.
