Circle Entertainment is bringing Koi DX to the Switch eShop this week.
Released on the Wii U a while ago, Koi DX places you in the role of a lone fish which has become separated from its owner and is tasked with purifying waters polluted by mankind. Naughty mankind.
To do this, you must explore the waters for other fish and guide them to flowers of the same colour while avoiding the malevolent black fish. The game includes "memory jigsaws", new skins and alternative fish to control.
Did you check this one out on Wii U? Will you be giving it a spin on Switch?

At least it's cheap, but probably still a pass for me.
Nope, didn't buy it on Wii U. Won't buy this on Switch at any point either. Just not for me.
At least with Miiverse being put to rest means that the user who is a fan of nicely rendered water won't have to see this game were water is merely hinted at.
I mean seriously, if the water in this game actually looked like water it would've been day one. And not day maaaaaaaaaybe.
My reaction was okay until suddenly i saw a little blood spread out when the Koi attacked by Big creatures.
You know, i'm a bit intolerance with mild blood like that. Hm....
@Anti-Matter I hate to break it to you, but koi get eaten in nature all the time, and there’s blood when it happens...
It looks like a nice easy going game to me.
So what ? No review for the WiiU version yet ?
I thought NintendoLife make review for every eshop games !
nope never heard of this one, looks ok could be a purchase if its quite cheap
But why?
Does anyone know if something like this was ever on Wii or perhaps a flash game? Every time I see this game, it brings up a distant memory of playing something in the exact same art style long ago.
For the right price I'll bite.
CALL IT "DELUXE" NOT "DX" ... WHEN I ORDER A BURGER AND FRIES COMBO I DON'T SAY "DOUBLE BURGER COMBO DX"
@bimmy-lee It reminds me of a mix of Electroplankton on DS and Rotozoa on WiiWare.
Loved this on Wii U.
Might double dip when I get a Switch.
@sketchturner - I really enjoyed the Art Style games I played via WiiWare. I agree, the art direction of this game reminds me of Rotozoa as well, though I didn’t realize this until your reply. The game I remember playing was exactly this art direction though. I’ve tried googling a couple of different ways, but I can’t come up with anything. I briefly dabbled on the PopCap site many years ago, and it may have been there. Thanks.
We are not getting a cod game, but at least we are getting a koi game!
@Biff_ARMStrong DX can also stand for Director's cut. It is also more concise and definite than "deluxe", which can be spelled "de luxe" or "delux" in non-anglophonic countries.
For 5 dollars it seems fine. If I had more time I would actually like to try it. But I have so many games right now that I want to play, and I work so... pass.
@thesilverbrick Is Koi blood the same color as people blood? I can honestly say I have never killed one to find out.
I have it on Wii u. Its okay, but terribly short.
