Hm....
Minecraft much ?
E-shop only while ps4/xbox1/pc got physical retail ?
Sorry....
No dice.
Guess I'll keep watch on this one. Not a fan of Minecraft, but I'm getting a bit of a Zelda vibe from it as well
Looks nice, like the lovechild of Lego and Minecraft.
The combat system drives me nuts because every time you hit an enemy with the sword it pushes you back.
no really a fan of minecraft. kinda looks like a minecraft mmo in my opinion. i wouldn't mind seeing more game play but as of right now not really interested.
at least it look better then mincraft. added stats.. might be fun
Minecraft 2 HD
"We need to make an indie game that makes money"
"Portal and shovel knight were indie games that made money."
"We need to make an indie game called portal knight that makes money."
"Minecraft makes money."
"And we're done."
@Kalmaro
Exactly. XD
My students who loves Minecraft probably will love this game.
I must tell to them....
Kinda bugs me that they won't even mention the Switch in commercials like these.
My kids were playing the demo over the weekend and they love it so far. It's like Minecraft mixed with Diablo. Suck a the switch version won't be out at the same time as the other versions but certainly looking forward to getting this for my boys.
@Roam85
Well... honestly, I don't like those ingredients for Portal Knight recipe.
Shovel Knight + Minecraft + RPG = Portal Knight.
Typical....
Sorry, but these characters look like they are ripped straight from MySims. Not the best first impression.
@Evenmoresteven I KNEW they reminded me of something.
@Evenmoresteven Can't unsee.
@Anti-Matter haha, yeah it's all I can think of. Looks amusing though.
I'll give the demo a go. But if I want to play a Minecraft like game, I want to get LEGO Worlds when it releases for Switch. But a demo is free, so what the hell.
I'm definitely interested, as it reminds me of the excellent Dragon Quest Builders on PS4. Hope it comes to the Switch soon, as I'd love to have this on the go.
This looks interesting. I'll keep an eye on it.
Got the name mixed up with another game I used to play on Steam. >.>
This looks like it could be good. Will keep it on my radar.
Actually gives me a Skylanders' vibe . . . is that you, Master Eon?
It looks like a fusion between Minecraft and Dragons Quest Builders. One to keep an eye on.
From first glance it might just look like a minecraft clone but trust me if you give it a shot you will find out its alot different.
This looks like a Dragon Quest Builders spinoff which is a Minecraft spinoff but with RPG elements. I will probably pick this up for the Switch. I like 505 games
Another games that used Minecraft inspiration :
1. Harvest Moon the Lost Valley 3DS. Looks MEH completely.
2. Dragon Quest Builder. Intriguing concept but not interested with Akira Toriyama character design. Not a fan of his artwork style.
3. Portal Knights. After I watched carefully, the Blocky terrain still kinda killing my interest, but the environment looks Vivid and Nice. I have interest with the character design. But somehow.... it still on digital download version for Switch.
I don't like 505 cheap games so I'm fine with (not buying) it.
Similar to DQ Builders it seems. But man, those character models are ugly as hell.
If reviews are good, I might wait and buy the Switch port
This game looks pretty interesting. Guess I'll keep an eye on it for now.
I was like
"yes, Yes, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and then I saw Xbone and PS4 only and I was like... oh." Well that sucks.
Hoping for a Switch release
Nintendo should add mii(/amiibo?) support
It's like a mix or Minecraft and Zelda and some other stuff. Could be interesting. I'll wait for a review and a price tag.
Looks actually fun, will get even at $29.99, even though pc one is half of that...
Tried out the demo. Didn't enjoy it. But I don't seem to enjoy these games regardless, so I guess it's no surprise. Visuals are nice though.
