The Sonic social team strikes again
It's well known that the social team behind the official Sonic the Hedgehog accounts is more than happy to go crazy with in-jokes and memes. After all, this is the group that recreated a Sonic storyline using toys and a dog in a hat, just because it could.
Now it's released a quirky trailer for Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice, pitching it as a romantic comedy. It's classic Sonic social media.
It's bonkers, and it's hard not to love the Sonic the Hedgehog accounts on Twitter and YouTube.

I love the Sonic the Hedgehog twitter account, it's the best
Jesus even the credits scene is a joke, never knew Scratch and Grounder voiced Orbot and Cubot. Then again both are terrible jokes of characters who probably were tossed in there last minute.
I love the Sonic social media team. They always seem to do something witty with the series even if they poke fun at the franchise😀 I like that
modern technology has made the simple search for the official sonic twitter account too much of a chore. i would then chide nlife for not including a link to it. at least i'd do that if i were petty.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind an actual Sonic game with a romantic comedy theme, but with Sonic Boom's low brow slapstick humor I doubt it could be done competently.

If Sonic games have been less than great in the past games, at least I feel like they found their calling in making fun of themselves in their media. I hope the person responsible for the official twitter account is having a blast
