The latest Nindies 'Summer Jam' release is out today, with DrinkBox Studios releasing SEVERED on Wii U and 3DS. It supports crossbuy and is out on both systems in Europe, though only the home console version is out in North America today; the 3DS version is expected soon. In any case, it's a title that Nintendo has been keen to promote and highlight since E3.
To push the launch Nintendo has now released a video to help newcomers that are picking it up, with the studio's Chris Harvey giving some key tips on playing the game.
It certainly looks promising, and we were impressed when we played it at E3. Are you planning to pick it up?

Wii mote or just stylus and touch screen?
I'm super excited for this game to come out on the 3ds in NA. Is it a N3ds exclusive or can the older systems run it?
@Rogue76 Older systems can run it.
Does "Severed" "deserve" its price tag? Only found a few reviews so far. NWR gave it an 8/10.

Question: will the Nindie Summer Jam discount also be in place for when it hits 3DS, or should I grab it now to secure the discounted price when it does? I'm more interested in playing it on 3DS.
@Elanczewski thanks
Wow I did not realize it was also out on 3DS... guess who's happy now. That's right, me.
Hear well- this game is a masterpiece.
You just don't see games like this very often, if at all. And it's Drinkbox so you already know it's gonna be a classic. But this is their best work to date.
@sandman89 Don't know, but I doubt it. That would mean some extra work for the devs. If so, it would be a nice surprise. I'm buying it, later tonight. If so, I'll return and post about it.
@MarioPhD From what I heard from people in Europe you buy one version you get the other free. If you have a Wii U then you should automatically get the 3ds version when released.
Downloaded this game yesterday and I'm now half way through. So far I love Severed.
one of the few indies that actually make me want to purchase their games
That video (and others) is turning my "will buy in the future" mindset to "will buy it real soon".
