Last weekend the finest Pokémon players in the world, masters of video games and trading cards, gathered in San Francisco to compete in the World Championships. For those involved it was naturally hugely exciting and tense, though due to the size of the venue unfortunately the event wasn't open to the public this year.
Nintendo Minute's episode for the week is focused on the World Championships, however, and Kit and Krysta took a good look around to show what the event was all about. There's a lot of intense competition, some neat banners and props and, of course, some pricey yet tempting merchandise.
Here's hoping that next year's event is another good one, and hopefully at a sizeable venue so that more of the public can go along.

@hieveryone gg boi
Was this a worldwide championship? Its unclear cos they never mention it in the video 🤔
@Fandabidozi Did you know they also have a three time world champion doing the official VGC commentary? Apparently he's also been involved in some of the other commentary videos for the last few years. You'd never know that Ray's a three time world champion though, it's hardly ever mentioned at all.
@Cinaclov
