Build-A-Bear Workshop has been riding the Pokémon hype train pretty well in recent months thanks to its adorable Pikachu plush which you can stuff yourself in-store, if you so wish.
The retailer has now taken a second bite of the 'mon cherry with a cute and cuddly Eevee, and even went as far as to create a limited edition online exclusive bundle for the beast, complete with the following items:
- Pokémon Eevee
- Pokémon Eevee Cape
- Pokeball Sleeper
- Pokémon Eevee 5-in-1 Sound
- Build-A-Bear Workshop exclusive Pokémon TCG Card
The good news is that this bundle was put on sale early, but the bad news is that it sold out almost instantly. You can still walk into a Build-A-Bear store and get a standard Eevee without all of the additional items, though. If you plan on doing that, be sure to tell the world by posting a comment below.

HIT ME WITH THAT BLUE SHELL
You know, Evee is really cute, but 9 out of 10 people are just going to think that stuffed animal is a fox.
Still, more Nintendo IP licensing and awareness the better.
Ive always had a problem with Buuld-a-Bears that you can't put clothes on.
Yes, I know half the fun is building it yourself. But when it's a My Little Pony or a Finding Nemo or a Dragon then it always felt wrong because all you can do to customize it is awkwardly put on a cape. These don't feel like Build-a-Bears, these seem like regular plush dolls like you find at Walmart or a carnival. And now here's Eevee... wearing a cape (?!?!?).... For $62?!?
Don't get me wrong. I guess it's cute and all (despite being way darker than it should be) but for that much you could buy an import from the Pokemon Store in Japan and still have a lot of money left.
NL: There's a build-a-bear Evee plush.
Me: I'm a 37 year old man, why would I want a stuffed Pokemon?
NL: It's a limited edition version and it's sold out.
Me: Nooooooooo! Now I want it!
I can say without doubt, with Go, the Pokémon companyis hitting an all time high
I'm tempted to walk there this weekend and see it they have any left.
Still Available Online in NA!
I WANT IT NOW!!!
I am fighting my impulse in buying one. I keep thinking $62 is too much but my mind is trying to rationalize it as being "worth it".
@Kid_Sickarus I am also a 37 year old man. I want it. For my daughter, yeah....
Its honestly not even that good looking a plush...
$62 USD? I guess it talks, but come on. Glad to see I'm not the only one wrestling with this conundrum.
