Nintendo often does a decent job of localising some of the quirky and entertaining content out of Japan, and has done good work with a new web comic.
Released on the Play Nintendo site, this is a translated version of Saitaro Komatsu's comic, which originally featured in CoroCoro magazine. In its way functioning as an advert for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, Link's Hijinks nevertheless has some cool art.
Part one is below, perfect for a brief bit of chilled Saturday reading.

Zelda always got shafted when it came to Manga.. Never got a proper Manga, and this one probably won't be that much better from that OoT one we got back in the day.
I relate to this comic on a spiritual level.
I wonder which dungeon Link was at anyways?
LOL!
The greatest use of the ocarina ever.
@JusticeColde Agreed.
@GMB-001
Pretty much every Zelda game (save one or two) had manga adaptations, most of them by artist duo Akira Himekawa.
But won't his ds go back in time also? Making him loose progress? Also, no new video games would ever be released. He would have to play the same ones over and over again....
^ Nope, if the Ocarina remains the same as he plays it, I would bet the 3DS would as well. Hopefully. Otherwise he basically is just going to be forced to live the last three days again for no reason.
I would have just went back in time more than 3 days in all
@Tsurii @geminiSaint Yeah, I know that.. Hell, I have read most of them and have them on my laptop.. I was talking about the quality not the quantity, what I meant was that the Zelda manga that I have read were garbage. English isn't my first language so I might have expressed that wrongly lol.
@MyLegGuy Since the bomber's notebook keeps its contents it would also apply for his 3ds. At least he could play every game from the 3ds library so far. Imagine if a game released the second day could be sold in the first? He would make tons of rupees.
haha that's awesome!
Is this manga read from left to right?
Yeah, so, where's the money to be made by Nintendo for spending time localizing this? Wouldn't those who wanted a Zelda manga to be translated be a far smaller group of fans vs those who would've wanted a Mother 3 or Captain Rainbow?
I was half way through before i realized that it's read left to right lol.
edit: does anyone know if the comic was mirrored? i assume it was, since it came from corocoro.
@GMB-001 Wind Waker had a pretty decent manga. It focused on comedy rather than the story, which I think is better, since I really don't need to have the story told to me again.
It doesn't feel right seeing Link talk so much...
@Moon
Link ALWAYS talks in the games.
We just never see/read it... But all the people he meets up with always react to him speaking!
This comic is just awesome. So AWESOME! I have always had a fond interest in reading comic books/manga so this hit the spot! The deal just gets sweeter when you blend Zelda games into the mix.
My dirty hat approves.
Lol!
