The 3DS has a lot of great games, both at retail and on the eShop, but it can always do with a few more additions. It seems the world of mid-tier retail releases hasn't finished yet - it was dominant in the DS era - with publisher Ravenscourt bringing some recognisable IPs to the portable in Europe.

Both set to cost €29.99 and arrive in mainland Europe on 19th June, we have Garfield Kart and Paddington: Abenteuer (Adventure) in London. Targeting a young audience, these could either be fun kids games or shameless cash-ins - we won't pass judgement yet.

Garfield Game LOL

Both of these are currently listed as physical retail releases on Amazon Germany - download games are far less prevalent in the country - but may pop up elsewhere as eShop-only games.

We like a bit of Garfield, in particular, but if anyone says the retail scene's looking quiet on the 3DS, you know what to use as a riposte.

Thanks to Kenneth for the heads up.

Update:

We dug up a trailer for the PC / smart device version released last year - prepare yourselves...
