Nintendo is constantly trying to impress its fans with new updates, and has continued to put its efforts into making the Miiverse community as gratifying as possible.
The company has recently announced the brand new update, allowing you to view details when someone is following another member of the community; you can also join in on the fun and view other people's profiles in order to follow them:
This is not the only Miiverse update from Nintendo so far this month. We also received an update from earlier in the month allowing Miiverse users to view recent comments without having to click on them. We are also now able to view a list of Miiverse users with similar interests, created from the games we are playing and the communities in which we're active.
Let us know what you think of this and recent updates - are these Miiverse improvements keeping you on the platform?

That's nise!
All I want to see from Miiverse is universal stamps. I think that's the biggest missed opportunity.
So many games have Miiverse stamps as unlockables, but since you can only use those stamps while posting in that community, the actual use of the unlock is severely limited. If I could have access to all my unlocked stamps in any community I'm posting in, it would allow for more creativity, while also giving an incentive to play more games as there's a collect-them-all aspect that comes into play. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if that's a feature that can be retrofitted to Miiverse, but until/unless that's implemented, I can't imagine any other updates that would excite or be of particular use to me.
If the admins aren't stupid, I would use Miiverse more.
Great some news comes first in dutch
"Follow the leader" have just got a bit more stalker feed
@Nintendude789
Hey, you're that guy from 3DSPlaza.
This is fine:

But mentioning Project X Zone is illegal.
This could get spammy.
@Sakuraichu
Yeah! I am.
Yup. Project X Zone is apparently an illegal game, despite having an entire community dedicated to the game on Miiverse.
Great update! I'm already using this new feature today. I like the new activity feed.
@Tsurii897 O lol that is cool I didn't know that
If anything, mii verse needs more admins. The amount of little kids chatting about bullpoopoodoodoocacapoopledoople is amazing.
♪You're friends are my friends and my friends are yours.♪
@bro2dragons That'd be a great adition. I still remember the first time I tried to post on a community and realized that I couldn't use my MK8 stamps
Thankfully I don't follow much people so this doesn't affect me much, though it would be nice to have an option to turn them off like I keep suggesting for the previous updates.
Thanks for the feature, but how about making it optional? I couldn't give less of a damn about who follows who, and all these "recommendations" are just annoying.
@bro2dragons No. Just no.
Where is the ability to send Private Messages via the Web version?
And while we're at it, where's the Friend List integration ala Mariokart.tv so we can see who is currently online and what they're playing?
AND WHEN WILL NNIDs BE CROSS PLATFORM??
Now if my profile description wasn't still hidden...
@bro2dragons Universal Stamps could be used as Nintendo's answer to Trophies, IMO.
I don't know about anyone else but I use Miiverse in just about every game I play. I like engaging with the community.
Any word on that Miiverse stage in Smash yet? Universal stamps would be cool too!!
It is a good improvement but could be better.
@GhotiH
It could be, but won't really have the same effect... I got ## of stamps, which I don't even remember how or what I did to unlock them. The closest thing to trophies, imo, was Hyrule Warriors' Miiverse achievements.
But universal stamps is an interesting idea though...
Thing is, what Nintendo DOES need to fix in Miiverse is the Follow button in general, in the web interface.
When I go to Miiverse on my phone or PC, there is no follow button available in the threads or in people's profiles. This is only available on 3DS and Wii U Miiverse apps. This used to be available still a week ago and since then I've seen the button go on and off that sometimes in the evenings it is visible and then again next day it isn't.
I really don't know what they are playing around with, I have reported the problem already, but have seen no change back to functioning form.
Since the search in the Miiverse itself is really horrible, it's difficult to search user profiles on other platforms than the web interface where you can just directly write the wanted person's user name to the url field. Miiverse search doesn't allow you to search for users, specific posts or anything useful. It only allows to search for Miiverse's communities names.
As an example I was trying for a week to find Reggie's user profile and it just isn't possible in Miiverse itself, but I did find on PC but couldn't add the profile as to Follow it. One evening it was however possible during this week so I immediately marked him as followed.
What is possible on web interface still is to remove the follow mark, but then the whole button disappears after that and it is not possible to mark user again followed, unless you go to the Wii U/3DS app and do it there, if you can find the same user somehow.
And seriously, they need to give access to private messaging to friends in the web interface. It is really difficult to keep conversations going with people when you can only do that in Wii U Miiverse. Hopefully this all will be sorted when they make the unified user account system so that 3DS has the same friend lists also.
@RobMondavi
This is true also, the amount of kids(?) crazy spam is incredible in Miiverse.
At some point especially the Zelda community pages were filled with all kinds of crap.
Another proof that Genesis were way ahead of their time. They even made Miiverse's new theme song way back in 1978.
Just being able to post about my latest adventures in games is enough to keep me on the platform, but these updates sure help and prove that Nintendo cares about continuing Miiverse.
eh i just wish they would stop with these little add ons that just make it worse for so of us. -_- The activity feed has always lacked on loading speeds and loading right at all now with these annoying recommendations it makes it worse. Some of the silly things at times on miiverse that you cant say is also annoying like try saying "friend code" and im sure your comment will be deleted. e.O
Anyway im just starting to use miiverse less and less many others seem like they left too that i used to follow not so fun anymore
My favorite Miiverse stupidity is when posting a video or screenshot you have to write or draw something or else it is considered a blank post and you are attacked by the admins for breaking Miiverse rules. I stopped using Miiverse for a while after that and only just started using it again.
My new standard for those things will be to put "I am writing this since the admins apparently cannot see the image/video posted and are confused into thinking this is an empty post."
Don't know if anyone else noticed this. Now you can open a post in a new tabe by clicking the scroller on the mouse (or by doing ctrl+left click).
Making it harder for trolls to hide. Thanks Nintendo for neutering Miiverse.
I liked swapnote better than MiiVerse. Sorry MiiVerse is Lame. It felt nicer with swapnote and sending cool messages to real life friends with 3D pictures attached. I still don't buy the whole abuse reason as to why Swapnote was shutdown. I think it was either setup on the old Nintendo servers which shutdown or Nintendo just wanted to cut a few costs by shutting down a new server. Such a loss. I know I had fun on swapnote and the people on my friendslist had fun with it also.
I honestly didn't remember miiverse still exists, LOL
Zelda and other communities are just spam and random junk. Beat Shantae in 10 days, have barely touched my Wii U since. Haven't touched Miiverse since Bayonetta 2 released.
It also helps being 12 (from what I've seen) and talking exclusively about Nintendo, even if mentioning Sony / MS / PCs is relevant or pertinent.
Remember, opinions are bad, mmmk?
Swapnote! Swapnote! Swapnote! lol
