As you've no doubt noticed over the past few weeks, we've teamed up with the Official Nintendo UK Store to run the Mario Kart 8 Championship 2014 in the UK, looking for the country's fastest racer; there are some awesome prizes up for grabs.
This Championship has multiple online Heats, with the top three in each of those Tournaments then progressing to the live final at EGX London on Saturday 27th September. It's worth remembering that those that qualify will receive travel and accommodation expenses for the event, so even if you weren't planning to go to EGX this could be your ticket in.
We've had three heats now, which means we've reached the final round as we find the final three racers to join our nine finalists so far.
Not Racing? Watch Spamfish Instead
If you're not taking part today don't worry, you can watch popular Twitch racer Spamfish as he broadcasts his his own attempt to qualify in the final heat live; you can watch him practise straight away and attempt to qualify from 4pm (UK Time):

157, items are so unfair DX
Haven't dropped a race yet (done 5) but lost 15 points to a dc at the end and it wasn't even the message about losing connection either as I was still connected and everything, really was frustrating.
Jesus some of you guys have got some crazy skills!
A big thanks NL for the Tournament today and of course nintendo.co.uk. I'm still in a state of shock. See you guys at EGX
Got 194 points so didn't get in, not a huge loss though as I'm going to EGX anyway
@WYLD-WOO GL
