Capcom and Sumthing Else Music Works have announced the release of Mega Man Soundtracks in ten delicious volumes.
The first four volumes are already available, and the subsequent six will be released at the rate of two per month.
The classic chiptune tracks have been heralded as some of the best in the business, so this is sure to put a smile on every Mega Man fan's face, especially with one new Mega Man game coming every week this month as well.
The soundtrack had previously been released in Japan, but sadly the west won't be getting the physical release with the lovely little presentation tin. We'll have to make do with digital downloads.
Mega Man Soundtrack Volumes 1-4 are available right now from iTunes, Amazon, and Sumthing.com.

Nice
Ugh, download-only, again... are they really thinking physical editions wouldn't sell here?!
@Kaze_Memaryu And they don't credit the right composers and it's MP3/AAC only. No love for FLAC (or other lossless formats) sigh
@Kaze_Memaryu Just import it won't be that much more. (8% + Delivery more or something like that a tiny amount.)
Yay, good
I just wish Nintendo were more willing to sell their soundtracks.
Hmm..
Without the E-tank tin, what's the point? I can list men to the tracks on YouTube, or better yet just play the games.
What's the point if not physical? You can listen to literally every Mega Man soundtrack on various websites for free.
Just got the Dr. Wily's Castle Theme from MM2!
Definitely will buy! Mega Man 8 had the best soundtrack imo.
Snakeman level... Love that song, hate the level.
Sweet !!
Way to expensive! Especially for digital only.
No physical release = worthless
Awesome! I owned Mega Man 2 when I was a kid. I was so good at it. I could beat the whole game in one sitting without dying. Now I completely suck at it. Hahaha!
Would rather have a physical copy , digital copy for games I could understand but won't really buy but soundtracks is a hard copy go go for me
Too late, I've downloaded it for a long time !
