The first footage of upcoming WiiWare puzzler Aya and the Cubes of Light drew criticism from some readers due to its slow pacing, and developer Object Vision noticed. The outcome? The game will receive a speed increase, among other improvements.
It also looks likely that the game will feature mid-level checkpoints in response to beta testers' requests. Sadly these improvements will lead to a short delay to the game's release, meaning it may miss its projected late 2010 release date.
Never let it be said your voices are not heard.

Excellent, hope it turns out well
A small delay is always worth it if it means a better game. Glad to see developers doing their homework.
Hmm..sounds good to me. First vid looked very interesting but.... Yeah way to slow. If they also manage to fix the floaty walk animation, im all in!
I'm glad to hear that the developer was willing to listen to our constructive criticism. I liked what I saw in the video but I thought that the character moved way too slow. I am happy that they are fixing this. This game looks very promising and I think that it will be worth the wait. Good luck to them!
