We just got word from Nintendo of Australia that gamers in the land down under will have to wait a little bit longer for their dose of Super Mario Galaxy 2 goodness. Instead of hitting store shelves on June 10th, the game will now make its Australian debut on July 1st. The good news is that the helpful DVD that Europe and Japan are getting is coming along for the ride as well.
Where does this leave North America, seemingly the only continent so far to not get the DVD? The only reasonable explanation to us is that the old people there are just such hardcore Mario players that they don't need it.
So rejoice Australians! While you still can! You know Nintendo loves you, somewhat, even if other game companies sometimes don't.

Lol doesn't July come after June?
Wait, what? I read that wrong, it was early morning, sorry guys! We apparently have to wait longer, I'll ask to get that fixed.
Yay, I was worried we'd have to wait til June for a minute there
WOOT!
Chibi, link me please to where you are buying your copy from. The 10th of June is my last exam. I'll stab someone in the face if I have to miss out on this because of Nintendo Australia being late to the party.
I start holidays around then. 3 weeks of gaming bliss.
Looks like I'll be ordering the DVD off some bloke on ebay
Could it have anything to do with the United States being NTSC region? All the other regions will the DVD are either PAL or Japan
Thank you chibi. To me you are now know as Mr Awesomeface.
