In an interview with Game Developer magazine, Keita Takahashi had this to say about the Revolution:
“I’m not really interested in it. I don’t think a controller should have that much influence on the enjoyment of games. I see what [Nintendo is] trying to do, but they’re putting such emphasis on the controller; ‘Whoa, this controller lets you do this!’ and I’m thinking - are you messing with us? So, there’s nothing I really want to do with it right now.”
Looks like Takahashi won't be developing for the Revolution.

Its weird that he is taking such a negative angle. Games like Katamari would work well with teh Revolution control system.
But then again you did say he isint doing any more Katamari games so its not as if Nintendo are going to miss out on anything that the PS3 or 360 will have.
It sounds like he is trying to be a rebel. Like "I'm not doing what Nintendo tells me even though it adds whole new directions for my games, it's just that I'm not very creative and can't think of a way to use it".
He is cutting his nose of despite his face. Dismissing it completely. Yes it doesn't need to be used for every game but to speak that negatively about it seems strange.
Hopefully he is just a minority of sceptics.
He's been known to speak his mind about things very openly...he needs to control that.
