I might get if for collecting purpose but game should be physical as well.

Guys, the game has actual miis in the game. You don’t have to use the new characters that were introduced. You can use the miis if you want.

I think it's cool they introduced soccer, even if I am not a fan, but il actually looks funny and a bit different. But I can't really understand why Badminton if there already is tennis... I mean, in real life they sure are different, but in game... I'm not sure. I would have liked some other sport instead. I guess the title has a budget price because they are planning to introduce more sports through paid DLC's (or including them in the Online subscription)

@Ricube Yeah it does seem odd to have badminton and tennis. Particularly when there are so few sports represented.
Also seems very odd to feature soccer as one of those few sports when they're hyping up the full blown Mario soccer game.

Gotta have this. And since Joycon Drift has destroyed my controllers, I'll likely have to invest in a new set (as I haven't used the actual ones in like a year).

I wonder why did they decide to distance themselves from the regular Miis. It's clear you can use them, but they look so weird next to these new human characters.

Thanks to everyone that informed me/us that standard Miis can be used, before I commenced wailing. Thank goodness. For some reason, the more details in the Mii character design, the less character they have. Less is more in this case.

Edit: also, no boxing is a thumbs down. In the original, I became addicted to knocking fools out. I found it hilarious

@anoyonmus you can use the Mii’s HEAD the rest of the body still looks funky. Although I feel great gameplay should shine through and the characters won’t bother me (and hopefully others feeling this way) as much in the long run.

The leg strap looks awfully like the one from Ring Fit Adventure... do you think it's compatible both ways? It should be since it's just the joy-con moving.
Regardless, extremely excited and hoping there will be more updates (at least boxing, please).

The best sequel (of a sequel of a sequel) one could ever ask for.

I was underwhelmed. The new additions: giant ball soccer (?) and badminton didn’t look particularly fun; and the other sports I’ve played enough of in the Wii days

My favourite event, Golf, is not coming until later - and if that has more than two nine-hole courses, then I may be tempted, depending on how good the joy-con movement is

Hopefully they introduce sports that utilise the Joy-con drift so all those faulty Joy-con controllers can be used.

The new art is a big no, i get that you can use Miis but i think it looks too shiny. Also, $69 CAD?! Thats….. yeah

I just played tennis, chambara and bowling (test). It´s a U$9,90 game max. I won´t never pay U$39,90.

Sucks no Switch Lite Support, can’t be played in Handheld Mode! I do own both Switch and Switch Lite but I only play in HandHeld Mode.

Already have it on pre-order. If it is anything like the Wii experience, I don't want to miss out!

I wish you could get a physical copy without having to get the leg strap. I already have Ring Fit Adventure and I don't want to pay extra for something I will not use. I don't want digital either because it'll take up space.

@sketchturner I thought that too, but after seeing some playing vides: Tennis is for peoplke who just want to be reminded of the old simple wii sports experience, and ideal for the classic casual wii sports fan.. Badminton is a more strategic game with stamina as a major factor... So it has a different place in the line up

Unpopular opinion; I like the new characters more than Miis.

What's there is good, but for me it needs both Boxing and Golf in addition at launch to be a must by. I'm sitting this one out as it stands..
Not enough content for me to buy it currently..

I'm getting this tonight! We still play Wii Sports monthly. We're over due for an upgrade.

I hated boxing in the original so no lost sleep for me on that.

I really enjoyed golf but I believe that's coming as DLC.

If I were Nintendo, I would have included a fishing game. Just upgrade the 3DS Streetpass fishing game and put it in there.

I'm a pit sad that baseball isn't in there for the homerun derby alone. The actual baseball game in Wii Sports was kind of okayish but the homerun derby is a lot of fun with people.

I think we're going to see more then just golf added as DLC.

I am trying to decide if I want physical or digital. I actually already have a leg strap from Ring Fit, but it wouldn't be the worst thing to have two. I usually do buy physical except for eShop only releases and retro type stuff - small games. Then again, the file-size on Sports isn't too big and it might be nice to be able to drop in & out without changing game cards. Is it worth 10 bucks for the case and strap? Hmmm....

Got mine from Argos, £32.99 is a pretty sweet deal.
